The purpose of GLA Executive Leadership Excellence Program is the

communicating ideas, and delivering results. As an effective leader
you must be able to influence and motivate others to execute a
plan. The Georgia Leadership Academy Executive Leadership Excel‐
lence Program (GLA ELE) is designed to turn strong managers into
highly effective leaders in an academic environment.
Relevant, Timely, Actionable Training
A curriculum designed for senior and mid‐level leaders at GRU and GRHS :
An introduction to subject matter in macro and micro‐economic
theory, finance, accounting information, and statistical inference as it
relates to executive level decision making.
An application of quantitative models and tools to business problems
arising in higher education and healthcare administration.
The principles of planning, leading, organizing, and controlling in
order to effectively manage your departments and units in a dynamic
environment.
The critical role of planning, managing, and coordinating price,
product, distribution, and promotion decisions.
Practical approaches and tools to analyze and design a
comprehensive strategy for promoting innovation and strategic
change throughout your organization.
Models and frameworks for meeting today's business performance
challenges while innovating for the future.
Program Features
Academic Year Curricu‐
lum: starts in Septem‐

Participation is based
on a cohort concept and
each class will have a
maximum of 25 people.
The participants will be
placed in 4‐5 member
project groups to com‐
plete a Capstone Pro‐
ject.
Classes will meet in two
four‐hour session twice
a month either on
2 consecutive Friday’s
or a Friday afternoon
and Saturday morning.

The inaugural class will be limited. To participate requires manage‐
rial support and nomination by a member of the President’s Cabinet.
If a program in oversubscribed during the nomination process, a se‐
lection committee will make the final determination based on appli‐
cation content and inclusion of a rich mix of participant backgrounds
in the class.

Upon satisfactory completion of the program, you will receive 9
hours of graduate level credit toward the MBA degree in the Hull
College of Business and CE credits.
