OverviewSuccess rates following IVF treatment have increased significantly since its early days, largely as aresult of the introduction and use of ovarian stimulation. Controlled ovarian stimulation (COS) nowplays a major role in optimising IVF outcomes by facilitating control of different aspects of theprocess and increasing the number of oocytes available. COS aims to achieve maximal success withminimal side effects. Progress in and understanding of ovarian physiology, as well as new advancesin ovarian stimulation strategies have made it possible for healthcare professionals to achieve theoptimal outcomes for patients.

An EXCEMED Learning JourneyThe EXCEMED blended education approach reinforces concepts from different angles using diverseformats which reinforce the learning experience. A multistep approach is used, encompassing web-based and live activities. All activities – in-person and online – involves the full interactivity oflearners. At three stages throughout the process, you will be asked to give your feedback on thelearning experience through the 3 surveys. The aim of this learner-centred programme is toenhance clinical practice by exploring the ideal outcomes desired by patients, embryologists, andclinicians following ART, with individualized approaches toward attaining these goalsAfter completing your Learning Journey with EXCEMED, you will receive a Diploma signed by thefaculty members and a final Outcomes and Feedback Report.

Learning objectivesBy attending this programme, you will be able to: • Interpret how laboratory and clinical outcomes define success in ART• Apply the different strategies available to increase the availability of oocytes• Tailor the best protocol for patients undergoing ART by selecting the most appropriatetreatment for individual patients

Target audienceThis programme is designed for clinicians and biologists working in assisted reproductive medicine, who want to acquire up-to date information for improving their current practice.
