ARC-AE uses Data loggers to capture
data or measurements at high frequency:
• Drawbar loads and pulls power needed
by implements
• Tractor engine speed - rpm
• Forward speed - km/h
• Fuel consumption – l/h, l/ ha
• Temperatures
• Pressures
Data Loggers
Abalone Sorter
This machine was developed for use by abalone
breeders. The machine sorts abalones in 5
programmable gradings and also determines
how many abalones have to be sorted per
basket. The number of baskets with gradings
are captured and the data can be downloaded
to an Excel Report.
Borehole Depth Meter
The borehole depth meter was
developed to measure borehole depth
as well as the casing depth and the
water level.
Electronic Scale
Electronic scales help the farmer to determine
the weight of his:
– Cattle
– Sheep
– Pig
– Fish
– Ostrich
Potato Counter
This machine was developed for potato
breeders and can count 5 different sizes of
up to 22 000 tubular per day.
Tipping Bucket Loggers
Tipping buckets were developed by the
unit to determine the amount of effluent
rainwater. When the bucket is filled with 3
liters of water it tips to the one side and
stores the data and time. When it is filled
with another 3 liters of water it will tip to
the other side and also store the data.
This is how the effluent rainwater is then
determined.
Precise syringe
The precise syringe delivers accurate
amounts of pesticides that is applied at set
intervals. This will save costs on pesticide
applications.
Insect Trapper
The insect trapper was developed for
research purposes to trap midges of a
size of 3 - 5 mm to eliminate diseases
such as Blue Tong and African horse on
horses.
