The contents of this newsletter are as follows: Latest News Announcements Achievements Latest News 10 th Thesis Workshop of the International Max Planck Research School on Adapt- ing Behavior in a Fundamentally Uncertain World For the 10th time, students and faculty met for the annual Thesis Workshop. The venue this time was Gut Gremmelin, a very nice location in MecklenburgVorpommern. From March 6th till 10th 20 PhD students presented the status quo of their thesis, as well as one specific research project. The presentations ranged from the research idea or design of an experiment to already finished projects. This mainly depends on how long students are already in the pro- gram. Some of the presenters just started their PhD a few weeks ago; others are close to submitting their thesis. Feedback on the talks and progress of the theses was already given right after the presentations, but more intensively in the poster sessions that took place every evening. The breaks and evenings were used extensively for discussions and students profited a lot from talking to faculty members with different research backgrounds as well as from discussions with each other. At the end of the workshop, six students received the final certificate of the IMPRS Uncertainty after having successfully completed all fulfilments of the curriculum. The 11 th Topics Workshop of the IMPRS Uncertainty will be held in Trento, Italy from September 25th till 29th 2017.
