Unique solutionThe facts:

The new triple-shaft exciter system has been designed to im-prove the maneuverability and climb ability of a vibrationplate in a revolutionary way. When working in cohesive mate-rial the unfavorable tilting action of plates, fitted with conven-tional double shaft exciter systems, and the lack of powerfulclimbing ability prevented the use of such machines or provi-ded poor compaction results. The ease in handling and ma-neuvering of the machine can be felt particularly when the useof low frequency – high amplitude is requested. The tripleshaft exciter system causes the plate to avoid erratic move-ments, allowing a smooth travel even through heavy, cohesivesoil. The unique and even running travel rhythm makes theplate effortless climb over obstacles and/or backfill with highmoister content without the usual suction effect, which oftencauses the plate to come to a complete standstill. TheAVH 5030, AVH 6030 and AVH 100-20 are fully hydraulic vibra-ting plates and have been designed with the most favorablebalance between impact force and centrifugal force in theirrespective weight classes.

The result:

Maximum compaction performance – 60 kN or 100 kN respec-tively. Based on the triple shaft exciter system and subse-quently due to the unique balance of impact force and centri-fugal force model AVH 6030 and model AVH 100-20 offer anexcellent forward and reverse travel as well as astonishingclimb ability in cohesive material. Vibration plates fitted with the triple shaftexciter system provide homogenous compaction withoutdisturbing the top layer of the compacted soil due to a conti-nuousness contact to soil.

■ Fully hydraulic, infinite servo-control gives the highest precision for forward and reverse travel as well as for pointcompaction.

■ Low-vibration control arm and operating system provides amaximum in maneuverability, an effortless working evenover a long period of time and a fatigue-free operator.

■ A compact working height of only 765 mm allows anadditional layer of compaction below diagonal trenchreinforcement.

■ Engine and hydraulic components are completely coveredto prevent damage during transportation and by fallingdebris during trench work.

■ Universal application through optimal, variableco-ordination of frequency, centrifugal force and amplitude.

■ Convenience is not an option standard feature includeelectric start for operator convenience in confined areas aswell as for reliable starting during operation in coldtemperatures. Folding central lifting point for quick andsafe loading and unloading. Emergency-stop function atthe end of the control arm (AVH 6030 optional).

Electric start and an electronic engine monitor are standard features on model AVH 100-20 optional for modelAVH 5030 and AVH 6030:

■ Robust and low maintenance battery with enhancedasset-reservoir and integrated carrying handles. The battery is bedded into a newly developed,vibration resistant, suspension system (AVH 100-20 only).

■ An electronic shut off system protects the engine viasolenoid, in case the engine’s oil level reaches minimum

■ Engine can not be restarted unintentionally when running

■ All electric functions are cut off after two minutes,when the engine has been switched off via throttleand without turning the ignition off

■ In case of low battery power, when it becomes necessary to start the engine manually with theprovided crank, the electronic recognizes the manualstart and allows battery to re-load, provided the ignition switch is set in the ”On“ position

With an operating weight of “420 kg” and a standard widthof 60 cm the AVH 5030 is the most powerful vibratory plate inits class.The excellent handling allows compaction work in confinedtrenches as well as on large surface areas.With the for the 3-shaft-exciter-system´s characteristicallysmooth hovering action the AVH 5030 reaches excellent com-paction results without disturbing the top layer of the mate-rial to be compacted.Due to the increased working speed the AVH 5030 accompli-shes high volume compaction work and is therefore well sui-ted for laying large areas of interlocking stones. When wor-king on stones, the revolutionary 3-shaft-exciter-systemtogether with an infinite variable throttle control avoids thesideways movement of pavement stone placed on the edgesof the working area.
