Customer benefits Easier to manage the network as info about each terminal can be retrieved through the
management system
New Ethernet features (unlicensed): Port to port configuration:
User traffic on one port will be directed to the same port on the remote terminal. This feature can be used to separate customers or separate traffic to different sites without using user configurable VLANs
Ingress rate setting per port: A feature to limit the capacity per port.
Port Mirroring: Ingress or Egress traffic from one port can be mirrored to another port without disturbing the
traffic. This feature is intended for fault finding purposes. User selectable routing of management traffic:
The user can configure which port management traffic is routed to. This feature can be used to block management traffic over WAN or to other network elements
Priority setting of management traffic: DSCP value for the management traffic can be set to prioritize this traffic during congestion
