The perfect wedding aesthetics are created with every Larry Cherubino venue booking. Our standard venue fee is $5,500 (rate varies according to guest numbers). Additionally, the following luxury furniture, setup and styling packages ensure your wedding looks it’s absolute best.

Apostrophe wines are stylistic blends made from our Great Southern vineyards. Textural and delicious, they’re without oak character – the white having no oak whilst the reds spend a short time in old and large format barrels.

Ad Hoc wines are an assembly of varietal wines, each wine sourced from its best suited region in Western Australia. From Margaret River, to Pemberton, to the regions of the Great Southern, our knowledge of these regions and relationships with other grape growers enable us to find the best vineyards for each grape variety, and this is what we show through Ad Hoc: great quality at great value, by finding the path of least resistance.

Pedestal wines (named due to the elevation of the original Margaret River vineyard we sourced fruit from to create these wines) seek to uncover and express sub-regionality in this part of the world.  Here we show images of Margaret River that are aromatic and vibrant, not heavily oaked. The concept of Pedestal is about raising the fruit expression above any winemaking construct.

The Yard wines are the place where we break ground in single vineyard wines. It’s much harder to improve the vineyard than it is to employ a change in winemaking technique. From the big things like travelling the world in the hunt for grape clones we believe would be well suited to our vineyard sites, to the little things like dropping the height of the cane from 1.2m to 400mm, every step counts.

Laissez-Faire means “let it be” and this reflects our hands off approach with these wines. We believe in healthy and sustainable vineyard practices, and as little as possible between the vine and finished wine. In our Laissez-Faire winemaking, there’s no added tannin, or acid, or animal fining products. There is zero sulfur used throughout the winemaking, and only a minimal amount at bottling. 

Cherubino wines reflect the sum of our experiences and our best performing parcels of vineyard. It’s the best of what we do, from Margaret River to Pemberton, to the regions of the Great Southern: our top one per cent, and with each year, we improve the quality of our best. They are our signature, the sign of our best work.

• If any of the beverages in the packages offered are unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to substitute similar items at our discretion. We will inform you if this is the case.

• No wine outside the Wine & Beverage package is available.

• Quantity of wine allocated will be based on guest numbers and applied at a Responsible Service of Alcohol rate. Any additional wine requested on the night will be at the discretion of the Approved Manager. Any additional wines will be charged out at Bar rates per open seal.

DO YOU DO LUNCH WEDDINGS / WHAT TIME CAN WE STAY UNTIL?

Yes, we do lunch events. Closure of the Cellar Door will incur additional charges. Beverage service is until 11 pm with the venue closing at 12am (midnight).

WHAT IS THE VENUE HIRE COST?

It depends on the number of guests.

For a 90 guest event the venue hire is $7,700.00, plus any additional surcharges that may apply.

CAN WE HAVE A MARQUEE?

Yes, however additional costs are involved due to the stress on garden areas.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I INVITE?

Our maximum is 150 guests.

CAN WE BYO? DO YOU SERVE SPIRITS?

Under our license conditions, BYO is not permitted. All beverages are to be provided by the venue.

DO I NEED TO BOOK TO COME TO THE WINERY TO DO A SITE INSPECTION?

Yes, site inspections are conducted by appointment only.

CAN I UPGRADE BATHROOMS?

Yes, at additional cost to you.

We have worked with a lot of local talent and can make recommendations after we receive your booking form - we will do all we can to ensure booking your event at Cherubino is a stress-free journey.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO AFTER I’VE BOOKED AND CONFIRMED?

Now you can sort out everything else you need to create your dream event. Please contact us anytime to help along the way. Once you are ready we will need your final guest numbers and menu selections one month prior to your wedding.

We will confirm your preferred seating plan, time schedule and any dietary requirements two weeks prior to the event and then we require final payment a week before the event. Everything you need, including all costs, are in this package, but please do not hesitate to contact us for more information.

EVENT SET UP

Two hours prior to the event are allowed on the day for set up of decorations, DJ’s, musicians etcetera. Access for setup on the day prior to the event is by prior arrangement and depending on availability. Please contact us to enquire.

DOES MY DEPOSIT GET TAKEN OFF MY FINAL BILL?

The deposit is used for security for any damages, breakages, property damage or stolen property on the night - please see terms and conditions for more information of refund of deposit.

MENUSThe menu prices quoted are valid from 1st July 2018 to 30th June 2019.

The menu listed are suggestions only and can be tailored to suit your individual requirements. Please be advised that we do not offer menu tastings, we rely upon our reputation alone.

All prices quoted are based on a minimum charge of 90 adult guests.

MENU ITEMS AND PRODUCT AVAILABILITY Please note that all menu items and products are subject to availability and supply. If any of the menu items listed are unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to substitute similar items at our discretion. We will inform you if this is the case.

Larry Cherubino Wines accepts no liability for food items brought onto the premise by the client, we ask that the person/s handling this has their food safe certifications and own equipment such as gloves, serving platters, utensils etc. Please advise if an external supplier is being hired.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTSWe do cater for people with special dietary requirements; vegetarians, coeliac and lactose intolerant people etc. In some instances this may incur an additional charge.

CHILDREN’S MEALSChildren’s meals can be provided at 50% of the per person menu cost.

VENDOR MEALSWe can provide vendor meals (photographers, DJ’s, bands etc.) at $44.00 per person. Please note that we cannot always guarantee vendor/supplier dietary preferences.

MOBILE COMMERCIAL KITCHENThe per person menu price is inclusive of a mobile commercial kitchen which we set up approximately 2 hours prior to commencement of food service. Please ensure that access is clear on the day of your event. The allocation of an appropriate mobile kitchen is at our discretion.

FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE STAFFFood service staff:

The per person menu price is inclusive of food service staff for up to a 5-hour service period (eg. 5pm to 10pm).

Beverage service staff:

The per person menu price is inclusive of beverage service from 4.00pm to 11.00pm (7-hour service period).

Please note that beverage service staff are “open & serve” only (Beer, wine, champagne & soft drinks). If you require additional staff to provide a service beyond “Open & Serve”, they are available at an additional hourly charge.

Service staff are available outside the quoted hours @ $49.50 per hour.

LICENSED AREASAlcohol must stay within our licensed area. All guests are expected to adhere to the boundaries.

INTOXICATED GUESTSWe seek your co-operation where guests at your event display a level of intoxication which has the potential to put our duty of care in jeopardy. Please nominate one person as a responsible host for each event so that staff have a point of contact if such co-operation is needed. If the level of intoxication is widespread we reserve the right to cease serving alcoholic beverages.

VENUE HIREIncludes but is not limited to: venue preparation, utilities, licenses and permits, cleaning, waste removal, signage, standard bathrooms, beverage staff.

Event setup:

2 hours setup time prior to the event is included in the venue hire fee, conditional on setup activities not interfering with regular cellar door trading. Any further time required for setup will be charged at the rate of $49.50 per half hour per person. Extravagant decorations, DJ’s, bands and similar by prior arrangement only. All items included in event setup must be removed by 9am the following day, unless otherwise agreed.

Public holidays:

If a function falls on a public holiday, there is an additional charge of 35% to the total bill. Please note that dates within school holidays, public holidays, long weekends, Easter, Christmas and the New Year period may be subject to a surcharge.

CELLAR DOOR CLOSURE If the Cherubino Cellar Door is forced to close during normal operating hours, an additional surcharge of $500 per hour of closure will apply.

BOOKING CONDITIONSA non-refundable deposit of 50% of the Venue Hire fee is required to secure and confirm your booking, along with agreeing to and signing the terms and conditions.

The Venue Hire balance and full Wine & Beverage package payments are due no later than 12 weeks prior to the event.

An additional Security Bond is required 12 weeks prior to cover any damages on the day.

EVENT DETAILS FORMOn booking confirmation, an Event Details Form will be provided, to be returned no later than 16 weeks prior to the event date. A Wine & Beverage Service Form will also be sent, to be returned no later than 12 weeks prior to the event. The information provided in the returned forms constitutes the confirmed details and requirements for your function.

No later than 4 weeks prior to the function date the following is required:

1. Confirm final guest numbers and meal requirements (adults, children and vendors/suppliers).

2. Confirm final menu with consideration to guests with special dietary requirements and food allergies.

3. Confirm schedule of events and runsheet.

4. Confirm table and seating layout with consideration to the menu style chosen.

5. Confirm consideration to mobile kitchen access and setup.

6. Confirm associated hire items required for your reception.

No refund will be given if numbers decrease within 14 days of the function date, so please confirm your guest list before advising us of your final numbers.

Failure to adhere to timeframes stipulated in the Terms & Conditions may result in additional fees, late payment fees, or a cancellation of the event.

SECURITY BOND AND DAMAGES Providing there are no issues, the Security Bond will be returned within 7 days.

We reserve the right to hold the Bond longer than 7 days if there are damages or stolen property to be settled. Any damages or stolen property occurring during the function must be reported to the approved manager immediately. All costs involved in the recovery, replacement, and installation of damaged or stolen goods will be deducted from the Bond. Should the Bond be insufficient to cover the costs, the client will be invoiced at cost.

SECURITYFor events involving 80 or more guests, security will be provided for the event duration. The cost is included in the Venue Hire Fee.
