CSI Student Chapter -LNMIIT Event Report: CSI-2015, the Golden Jubilee year of the Computer Society of India (CSI) and the 50th Annual Convention Celebration, Delhi A milestone reached and another set for CSI Student Chapter- Lnmiit (CSI-LNMIIT student Convention 2016). Delhi http://csi-2015.org/ convention FICCI Auditorium and http://www.bharatividyapeeth.edu was indeed a success for our chapter. Along with a paper presentation (big data) by one of the member Mr. Pushkal Agarwal and Assist Prof. Mukesh Jadon, eight more members successfully attended the events of the convention from 2-5 Dec 2015 i.e. Shivam Mathur, Kuldeep Grewal, Anant Nema, Manthan Sharma, Nishant Garg, Somya Shekhar, Kartikeya Garg and Vijay Sharma. It was a great experience for all. Students met eminent personalities of CSI National Executive Committee (2015-16/17), people from government of India and other institute’s guests. CSI Region-III Vice-President Dr. Vipin Tyagi (Rajasthan, gujarat, M.P.) has confirmed that the region has more than 35 chapter (>4000 students) and will support us for the same. We are now in touch with our city (Dr. Pawan, Dean RIET-Jaipur), region (Dr. Vipin Tyagi, Jaypee University- Guna), division (Prof. M N Hoda, Director Bhartiya Vidyapeeth-Delhi) and national heads President Prof. Bipin V Mehta, Vice-President Prof. Anirban Basu, Hon. Secretary Mr. Sanjay Mohapatra. They saw our annual report personally and appreciated our work. They quoted us as “Future of India and the world” CSI-LNMIIT would like to sincerely thank Director Sir, Subrat Sir, Sakthi Balan Sir, Mukesh Jadon Sir, Vikas Bajpai Sir, Preety Singh Ma’am and Dinesh Khandelwal Sir for encouraging students.

Event Report: CSI-2015, the Golden Jubilee year of

the Computer Society of India (CSI) and the 50th

Annual Convention Celebration, Delhi

A milestone reached and another set for CSI Student Chapter- Lnmiit(CSI-LNMIIT student

Convention 2016). Delhi http://csi-2015.org/ convention FICCI Auditorium and

http://www.bharatividyapeeth.edu was indeed a success for our chapter.

Along with a paper presentation (big data) by one of the member Mr. Pushkal Agarwal and

Assist Prof. Mukesh Jadon, eight more members successfully attended the events of the

convention from 2-5 Dec 2015 i.e. Shivam Mathur, Kuldeep Grewal, Anant Nema, Manthan

Sharma, Nishant Garg, Somya Shekhar, Kartikeya Garg and Vijay Sharma.

It was a great experience for all. Students met eminent personalities of CSI National Executive

Committee (2015-16/17), people from government of India and other institute’s guests. CSI

Region-III Vice-President Dr. Vipin Tyagi (Rajasthan, gujarat, M.P.) has confirmed that the

Day-wise Event-

Day 1: Inauguration ceremony of the convention at FICCI Auditorium. Dr. RS Sharma, TRAI

Chairman, Prof. S.V. Raghavan, Former Scientific Secretary. Padma Bhushan F. C. Kohli,

founder and first CEO TCS were there to mark the beginning of the event.

Day 2: Mr. Pushkal Agarwal and Assist Prof. Mukesh Jadon presented their paper. The

presentation was chaired by Dr. VB Aggarwal, Director (IT) JIMS, Former Professor and Head

of Department, Computer Science, University of Delhi.

Day 3: Panel Discussion on Digital India was held. Dr. Kamaljit Singh, Executive director of IMS,

talked on “Digital Revolution”. Mr. Suresh Bhardwaj, Member of legislative member of AAP

party. C.S. Engineer. Mr PB Sharma Vice Chancellor of Amity University and ex Vice

Chancellor of DTU took over the discussion.

The evening session was followed by Kavi samelan, hosted by well know kavi ”Gajendra

Solanki” and other Kavis.

We

finally attended the felicitation ceremony. We interacted with CSI executive. We told them about

our chapter and college. Many of them were familiar about esteemed institute and confirmed to

visit here. We fixed appointment with Jaipur Chapter and Region head. It was indeed worthy

talking such great and humble personalities. We also promoted Plinth and told them about our

Techno-Management Fest.Since this convention was in Delhi, we got the opportunity to visit

India Gate, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Chandni Chock, etc. Indeed our national capital is

blessed with many heritage monuments and places.

Some Experience Sharing-

“It was worth going there as it gives the experience, of how to behave, interact and share the

ideas with higher officials, how to work as a team and how to tackle a situation with patience. It

was really a wonderful trip; it imbibes a man out of it.” -Anant Nema

“It was great pleasure going to CSI – 2015; 50th Golden Jubilee Celebrations and Annual

Convention on “Digital Life”. We meet the executive council member of CSI and get good

chance to represent us and our college and at the last, we got the chance to visit good places in

Delhi like Akshardham. I want to thank college and CSI for providing me this opportunity.” –

Manthan Sharma

“This was a great opportunity for me that I have got a chance to represent our college. In this

trip I got chance to interact with the president of csi and many csi member. CSI is one of the

biggest committee in India. CSI is like a family. We also visit India gate and akshardham. I like

to thank csi and our college to give me such opportunity and i like to attain more such kind of

educational trips.”- Nishant Garg

“I attended the CSI Golden Jubilee conference in Delhi along with fellow CSI student chapter

members. It was a great learning experience to listen to people talk about their experience of

taking digital India forward. Also listing to people present their papers on hot topics like Big Data

and Data-Science, Cyber Security and E-Governance was a great opportunity. I would like to

thank the institute and CSI student chapter for giving me this opportunity.”- Shivam Mathur

“It was the most learning experience of my life. We witnessed a huge amount of highly qualified

crowd at the FICCI. We got a brief introduction to this year topic of discussion-"Digital Life". We

got to hear the discussion on digital life and witness prize distribution ceremony along with

Kavya samelan. On the last day, we interacted with lot of brilliant minds who came from all over

the country and made an everlasting impact on them of our college. We also met the

chairperson and Secretary of CSI.”- Somya Shekhar Jain

“I am very grateful to CSI for giving me this great opportunity to be a part of CSI 2015 annual

convention. I got a firsthand experience on how technology is rapidly changing and expanding in

many ways, how professionals put their agenda and how they calmly keep their points whether

everyone is on the same note or not. Generally I am very hesitant to interact with people but at

the annual convention I met a lot of students and talked to them. It helped me gain experience

and improve my communication skills.We visited Akshardham , gurudwara and attended Aarti

and fountain show, It was very relaxing. The journey with fellow members enhanced our

friendship bonds and in future we will work better as a team than before.It was a great

experience travelling in metro, interacting with people, delivering presentation and

making technology our best friend.”- Vijay Sharma

“CSI-LNMIIT Trip to CSI-2015, Delhi proved was itself a successful trip. The officials saw our

annual report personally and appreciated our work. They quoted us as “Future of India and
