RULES FOR THE EVENT
Maximum 3 projects per school and 1 mentor have to accompany the students.
Maximum 4 student members per project team.
Mentor and Students should be wear their ID card during project expo.
Mentors are responsible for their students’ discipline, safety of their own belongings and
their project demonstration.
Table of 3x2 feet will be given to display the student projects.
Presentation materials have to be brought by the team.
One page write up about their project, both in Tamil and English should be provided
during registration.
The teams have to register on or before 20.11.2019.
Project models should reach the venue by 4.30 pm on 21 st November 2019. The space
for project display will be allocated on first come first served basis.
Top 10 models will be rewarded with cash prizes.

A water rocket (Aqua jet) is a type of model rocket using water as its reaction mass. The water is
forced out by a pressurized gas, typically compressed air. Like all rocket engines, it operates on
the principle of Newton's third law of motion.

EVENT DESCRIPTION
A soccer robot is a specialized mobile robot that is used to play variants of soccer, similar
to football in the provided arena.
The dimensions of the bot must not exceed [30cm x 30cm x 30cm] at any point of time in
the game.
Both wired and wireless robots are allowed.
The weight of wired bot should not exceed 5 Kgs and wireless should not exceed 8kgs.

Each team is required to construct a single bot.
The maximum number of participants in a team is 4.
12V RPS (Regulated Power Supply) will be given by our college and the participant can
bring your battery maximum 12 V (0-7A) if they want.

EVENT DESCRIPTION
Line follower is an autonomous robot which follows either black line in white area or
white line in black area. Robot must be able to detect particular line and keep following
it.
General Instructions
Maximum power backup : 12V Battery
Bot dimension should be maximum of 25 cm X 25 cm X 25 cm.
Bot can use Micro controller or any IC Gates’s for automatic movement and should not
be controlled manually
Team members should bring their components and power supply for their bots.
Organizing team will not provide any components.
RULES FOR THE EVENT
Only one autonomous bot per team is allowed.
Maximum No. of member per team: 4
At the start of the task, the bot will be placed at the starting point. Only 2 team member is
allowed to be near the game field while starting the bot.
The starting procedure of the bot should be simple and should not involve giving bot any
manual force or impulse in any direction.
There are 2 rounds, One trail round is allowed before start of the first round.
When the autonomous bot starts, no team member is allowed to touch the bot or enter the
arena, if touches the bot, then the point will be reduced.
The ROBOT which will start on the START tile and reach the FINISH tile block by
following the black lines in the shortest time will be the winner
The decision of the coordinators will be final and binding upon any participants.

At the start of the task, the drone will be placed at the starting point. Only 2 team
members are allowed to be near the field while starting the drone.

The drone should serve an application for its flying. The weight of drone is not limited.
The flight should be away from spectators and safely land on target surface.

The students should bring their own battery and other accessories. Power supply
will be given by the Institution and organizing team. Any extra components will not be

The event is a playful platform for the school students to exhibit their knowledge on basic

The participants will be provided with basic materials of any kind including waste
materials and the students need to convert them into usable products
The activities involved in the event are aimed at exploring the students’ suggestions &
solutions against the Technological/Engineering challenges and recyclable waste
materials that are deteriorating the environment
ROUNDS
The event comprises of 3 rounds as follows
Round 1: Divide & Rule
A mixture will be given; students have to identify the mixtures with the given clues and separate
the components of the mixture
Round 2: Connections
Students will be given a task to connect tanks with various fittings provided
Round 3: Pick & Produce
A raw/ waste material will be given and the students will be asked to give ideas to produce useful
products

Team Event.
Each team consists of three members. Questions related to Mathematics will be asked. Three
rounds will be conducted. Five teams will be selected for the finals from Preliminary written test.
Round 1 - Aptitude
Aptitude questions will be asked to test their IQ, accuracy and speed in solving problems. Two
questions will be asked for each team. At the end of this round one team will be eliminated.
Round 2 - Puzzle Solving
Shapes to be formed using Tangram. Puzzles to be solved using different Materials. At the end of
the second round another team will be eliminated.
Round 3 - Identification of Mathematicians
Pictures of various Mathematicians will be displayed and the participants must identify their
names and inventions.

First the word will be either pronounced or audio played.
The speller is given an opportunity to ask for the word to be repeated. If he doesn’t find
the word he/she gets a clue.
The first clue: the definition or meaning of the word is given. If he/she doesn’t find the
word he/she gets the second clue.
The second clue: A sentence in which the word is used is stated.
Once the speller has started to spell the word, he or she may stop and start over from the
beginning, HOWEVER, there can be no changes of the letters already spelled or the order
in which they were first spelled.
Two or Three rounds may be conducted depending on the number of participants.
One who uses minimum clues emerges as the winner.

The yoga competition is to create awareness and also to encourage the habit of daily yoga
practice among the student community. It also aims to create interest among the spectators to
learn Asanas to their health. It is an open yoga competition.
RULES FOR THE EVENT
Duration: 5 Minutes per participant.
Maximum 5 participants per school.
Contestant should bring their yoga mat.
Individual event and event are conducted for Boys and Girls separately.
Contestant has to perform five Asanas (any two from Task A & one from Task B in the
given syllabus and two Asanas as per their choice).
The dress code for Boys yoga tights only (T- shirts / Shirts are not permitted). Girls:
Yoga tights and T- Shirts.
Asanas evaluation is based on the perfection of Asanas, perfect alignment and the range
of flexibility, strength, balance and resistance.

Freezer, microwave oven are allowed for preserving foods.
Inflammable items are not allowed for sale.
Wastage of food should be avoided.
Non-food stalls:
