SUMMARY
‘Big Dreams Pvt. Ltd.’, this is the name of our event management company. Our event management company was founded keeping in mind a specific motive and certain long-term vision & objectives.
Our office is located at Frontier colony, Adarsh Nagar road and it has been acquired on short-term rental basis for a period of 3 years. We have hired a lawyer for obtaining the Registration Certificate, other legal formalities and partnership deed.
There are various departments in our event management company. They are namely, the Copy department (people who help to prepare speeches), the Creative department (people who design the decorations for the stage where the event will take place), the Studio (people who will cover the live show), Backstage (people who take care of all the arrangements Backstage, they are provided with headphones), the Marketing and Advertising Department (they promote the particular event, approach the sponsors) and the Finance Department (those who handle all the accounts i.e. expenses and revenues,etc.).
As an event management company, we have
decided to organize our own live concert as a tribute to A.R. Rehman. Being a new company, we have many competitors in this field. Thus, in order to have an edge over the other event management companies, we are adopting an aggressive marketing strategy. Pepsi will sponsor this event and it will be co-sponsored by Airtel. We will also advertise in the Times of India, on the Internet via indiatimes.com and our very own website which we have launched recently i.e. www.bigdreamz.com. The whole event will be aired on MTV.
We have devised an appropriate Operational Strategy and Financial Strategy. Our target market customers i.e. the audience, for this live show, is the age group of 18 to 30 years. The venue for the live concert is the Goregaon Sports Club and the show will be for approximately 4hours. Thus, the pricing policy is appropriate. There are 26,000 tickets and they will be priced at Rs. 300 and Rs.500 which is quite reasonable. Around 1000 tickets will be reserved which will be given as complimentary tickets. The tickets will be sold at all the Planet M and Barista outlets.
There is ample car parking facility available and we will also arrange for the security personnel at the venue. We will also arrange for insurance of the entire event from the Life Insurance Corporation, which will not only provide insurance for the set on the stage but also the lives of the people working on the stage set-up.
Thus, all this gives us a brief overview of our business plan.

ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE
Copy dept:
This dept will do the work of preparing the speech for the host and comparing the events. This dept also keeps a track that proper level of humor is maintained during the event. This dept has its own importance because it attracts the attention of the public during breaks.
Creative dept:
Now days the sets, the stage, the lightning etc. related to the creative aspect are important aspects of event management. This department looks after the decoration and lightening in and around the venue, as such, this dept will look after the decoration and designing of the events to be held ever in the future.
Studio dept:
In order to keep a record of events organized by the company. We have a studio department, which will look after the photography of all the events and covers the whole event.
Finance dept:
This dept plays a major role in any organization. It will look after the day-to-day expenses incurred not only for the events held but also for other official expenditures. It will also look after the incomes earned from various sources. This dept basically will look after all the money related transactions.
Backstage dept:
This department looks after the activities that are going on backstage and is only active on the day of the event. This department also looks after the order of the activities and co-ordinates with the various artists that are going to perform
Marketing & Advertising dept:
Marketing Dept looks after how to get the sponsors and basically how to get the money to organize the event and what benefits should be given to the sponsors and Advertising Dept creates an awareness among the people about the event.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPOSED BUSINESS
Welcome to the future of event planning! BIG DREAMZ (BDZ), The Event Planning Specialists, brings to the community of JAIPUR a new breath of air in the event planning market. By combining old fashioned values, going the extra mile, and using cutting edge event-planning software, BDZ will lead the market, providing the same quality results, every time.
BDZis an equal opportunity business making its expertise to help its customers by planning and executing their own events. BDZ will start by hosting its own show where it pays tribute to A.R.Rahman. BDZ aims to be the number one resource for any event. BDZan event management company will be situated in Frontier colony , Adarsh nagar. Most meetings with clients are conducted in social settings, such as restaurants, coffee houses, the client's home, facilities wishing to be used for the event, or over the phone. Although the demand has not yet
reached its peak, BDZ will eventually move from its small office into a big office complex. The company will maintain a high degree of professionalism. The office is equipped with the latest in business technology, such as telephone systems, computers, fax machines, email, printers, and software. Each location will have a secure storage area for supplies and equipment used in events, such as walkie-talkies, cellular phones, portable fax machines, and laptops.
We are looking forward to host shows like award ceremony, any concert like musical or rock concert and such other shows like that. Thus we are not targeting a certain set of customers but it depends on the show we host and the type of show.
Founded in 2009 on a part-time basis, BDZ is a small business designed to meet the needs of the ever-changing social world. Jaipur is the current home of BDZ and it plans to expand its offices within four years. BDZ staff of nine, with numerous contract vendors, plans the events and writes event-planning products.
INDUSTRY ANALYSIS
BDZ operate in an industry where the prospects are very bright. The industry is growing at a very fast pace and BDZ wants to be the market leader by providing best events which is a success and giving quality at affordable price. Although there are big time players in the industry but BDZ is sure that it will survive in the industry and will establish itself as a
market leader as the time progresses.
BDZ is in a unique position of competition. We compete with large and small-scale companies, persons within an organization who are assigned the task of organizing an event, and people who wish to organize their own events without the benefit of assistance.
MARKETING STRATEGY
To launch a new concert is a daunting task but we have mapped out a multi pronged strategy to launch the BIG DREAMZ as the new attraction is called…
As our aim is to target the 18-30 year age group we have roped in the Jaipur Dream Music Wizard A.R Raheman to realize our big dream… and has an irresistible table attraction we will have Sonu Nigam, Adnan Sami, Alka Yagnik and Kavita Krishnamurti sing under the masters baton…

To add fizz to our campaign we have got PEPSI as our main sponsor and AIRTEL has co-sponsored to give the SMS touch which willand handed the media rights to the very best TIMES OF INDIA and Radio Publicity to 98.3….
PEPSI and AIRTEL will also benefit from their participation as our volunteers will support t-shirts wearing their logos, further their names will be prominently displayed on our hoardings and
banners…

We organize the event till the perfect execution of the plan so that our clients are more than satisfied and return to us from time to time whenever they need us.
If considering our present project, our service is better than our competitors because there is no such service provided by any of our competitors.
2. Price
We have priced our tickets in such a manner that it is affordable by each and everyone.
Since it is our first show we are attracting our customers by giving them tickets at a lower price and giving them quality and promoting BDZ.
3. Convenience

FUTURE VISION
Today as an event management company we want to cater to the people in our city of Mumbai. Then in the period of the next 3-5 years we want to concentrate to expand our market throughout India so that everybody can avail the best facility given by us. We want to organize events like the present one, which is our property, throughout the cities of India. So that the
whole country can be entertained by us.
Within the period of expansion in India, we also want to expand throughout the world. We want to concentrate first on our neighboring countries and give them quality-organized events.
We have a vision of not only entertaining India, but also to entertain the world. .
