Use forms and convention

The first picture is from the music video where they are dancing around. This is a typical convention of a boy band/pop music video.

This picture is showing g of the bright sunny colours used in a music video of this genre to attract the target audience.

The final picture is of a girl. This is a typical convention of a boy band pop music video as the theme are normally love.

Develop forms and conventions

This is a picture showing that we have a four member boy band. We originally started of with five, but because of personal reasons, we have cut it down to four.

This picture shows the individual styles of our boy band. We have developed this as in the past, boy band members wear a same or similar outfit in which they were as a band. Since we are in the modern age, we have decided to have their own individual style.

Challenged forms and conventions

The first picture is of the boy band in the South Bank. This is a challenged form/convention as this can normally be seem to be associated with rap/hip-hop genre. This is because of the graffiti which are on the walls.

The last picture is about obsessive fans. This is a developed form/convention as this is not typically in pop boy band videos in which we have took a risk.
