The genre for my magazine was HipHop and R&B as a hybrid along with fashion. I had aimed to create my magazine aimed at 16-25 year old males. After producing my preliminary I was clearer about how my magazine should be laid out, this was further confirmed after my research on existing products. Market research helped me understand the conventions and current design that is appealing. I have further enhanced my skills in photoshop as I have been able to effectively manipulate my images.

I have also learnt how to use a professional camera of which I have had no previous experience of working with. I learnt how to manage the levels of exposure and focus to make my images as clear as possible to they can be easily and effectively manipulated. I also learnt different angles of shot, however the photos which I had decided to use with my magazine were all mid shots so that the viewer isn’t intimidated. I have also learned blogging tools and upload methods of which I have used throughout my blog.
