1.0 Introduction: The idea of interior design in the world, came to facilitate the functions of living at the beginning of the order, for example, when invented human study table where came the need to arrange affairs and facilitate the process of study, regardless of what the materials used to build this table, or if the design was nice to maybe manufacture of wooden boxes old or damaged some of the wood but when I realized the pleasure of use achieved artistic pleasure and with the time taken to evolve multiple forms. From here began people building their homes and the need for a vacuum is the only purpose to build and not to be a place only utmost splendor and beauty as is the concept at the moment because the tastes are different and comfort that bring us satisfaction and conviction in the thing, but when we turn to the aesthetic side as we see in these days where Syrian houses are built to see things we like aesthetically and also satisfy our tastes in terms of visual at the beginning of it, but time is evolving every day there is the most beautiful but when I realized the pleasure of using technical realized fun thing. Hence the Syrian House today is a different house in all calibrated even noticed the evolution of homes around the world to realize that the Syrian home is a far cry from its advantages in terms of the environment and choice of construction materials into shape. Where has been replaced by local building materials construction materials developed in the world with the knowledge that at the beginning it was house Syrian implemented in Syria and titrated local materials and when it began to import and use of advanced materials led the negligence of the Syrian material and even neglecting to consider development.

1.1 Objective 1-To identify the importance of design details.Al Saied, Shaker Hassn, Freedom in Art 1974 You mean in the sense of expression design parameter is the expression of the design for what it is and its quality and function and the problem of science and read that the design has seen , through means which is a tool of expression, and that method is how to express , and the design work is only a set of expression, “Shirzad, Shirin Ahsan, in the principles of art and architecture, Arab House, 1985, p 192” which vary according to the decorative patterns and their implications Avatar , each expression pattern of its own , has a system of internal addresses human consciousness Ptobeiria forms. At the same time , is the adjective expressive in this system factor linking the basic procedure for the construction of the module , as the pattern and style are two of the manifestations expressive task, Ibrahim Zakaria, the problem of infrastructure, Dar Egypt Print 0.1976 which is gaining its meaning not from within the system itself , but also go out to consist with the sensory systems of the recipient , and is a model or style each artist , is a set of equations formed by the same process in order to achieve expression that reveals to us about his own way of looking at the world.

The system is composed of the expressive forms of the system and the system of meanings , the meanings associated with any forms , has been fit with the other forms , so it ties together severalRiad, Abdel Fattah, the configuration in the Fine Arts, Dar Arab renaissance, first edition, 1974, p 43.Content is the essence of the artwork , the format is its external appearance , and it is impossible to separate between form and content , there is a close link between them , so seeks designer to create shapes the most appropriate and which is expressed , may acquire the shape meaning specified in decorative pattern , it may differ in Taberih when used another style because it change the system , which is seen shape including changing site format and then means for example that the arrangement or configuration certain units visual may express the meaning of the terms strong , and another arrangement may not express anything at all, or it may be an expression of Rkika the best differences , or the meaning of the shape may vary according to place and time , or according to the cognitive ability of the recipient to understand , turning the vision into contemplation and meditation to thinking , and thinking to the arrangement and the arrangement is classified to the sense in which it belongs .

Namir Kassim Khalaf, A&B of Interior Design, 2005Maturity of specialists in the field of interior design at the end ofThe twentieth century and the beginning of the twenty -first century and the new directionsDesign and interior design due to changes in the lifeIt seems that the general change in the social structure and the disappearance of some of the old tactics may play a major role in that , as the interior design with a clear correlation forms of social life and economic , religious, intellectual , and so-called style or model that characterizes any stage of the different historical stages . (Style) What is not a direct result of the economic and social factors and trends of intellectual and religious beliefs that govern any stage of these stages , and we can say that the interior design is an art that can reach levels and wide in the delivery of ideas and aesthetic values spiritual and even at the level of individual buildings .The evolution of interior design and furniture was still subject to The process of the evolution of human thought in different aspects of life , has gone through the process of design and interior design through several stages withinHistorical eras .

3- To evaluate beehive model as a concept can benefit Syrian housing projects.

Vivian Head (2010, 2012) Bees belong the insect Family Hymenoptera, a group that includes ants, wasps and sawflies. Although the creatures are regarded as pests by many humans, they are in fact extremely beneficial to the environment, either as pollinators of flowering plants.

The QUEEN; There is generally only one queen bee per colony and her only role is to mate and lay eggs. The queen is vital elements to the bee colony as they depend totally on her chemical production and egg lying. It is her genetic makeup, along with, that determine the quality, size and temperament of the colony.

THE WORKER ; The worker is the busiest bee in the colony, as the name suggests, and is the one you will most commonly see as they collect nectar and pollen from flowers. Worker bees pass through various task related phases as they age.

THE DRONES; Drones are the only male bees in the colony and their sole function is to reproduce. Those that do succeed in mating with a queen during her nuptial flight perish during the act.

Pavol Navrat, Anna Bou Ezzeddine, Lucia Jastrzembska and Tomas Jelinek (2010) Social insects rank a key position in the field of artificial life, especially because of relative Simplicity of behavior of an individual as opposed to their complex collective behavior.

Colonies of social insects are able to develop means for solving problems collectively.

Complexity of these tasks exceeds any individual problem solving ability.

They can solve tasks without central direction, without existence of ahead given fixed structures, although the existence of expressive internal whirrs.

Marilyn Hamilton (2008) mentioned on Earth lives in cities. We're in human hives. We have to get more intelligent about how we live here, and move beyond - I talked about holons earlier. Really, our cities in many ways are heaps, not holons. Holons have order to them, they're a system, but a heap has just a lot of stuff that isn't integrated. And so I think that the bees have a beautiful Holon in their hive. We won't have exactly of course like a beehive, but we will have our species' version of it. I imaging that's possible.

So that's one of the sort of stages that I've taken the integral city to think: not just integral map, but the human hive Figure 11: Modern Building Using Beehive form as

In our modern, technology world, most of us spend a major part of our lives indoors. Home means an indoor place. The term interior design has come to describe a group of related projects that are involved in making any of human activities are to take place there. It can be the name of profession that concerns itself with these matters, but that profession is not as clearly defined as that of lawyer or doctor. Many people may contribute to the interior design of large and complex spaces. An interest in interior design usually begins with familiar problems in home. The design professions are becoming increasingly concerned with social responsibility, the ways in which their work affects the public at large both in the short and long term. Every design project, no matter how small or large, personal or public, impacts society as a whole through its consumption of space, resources, and energy; its generation of waste: and its ability to affect mental and physical health.

Computers for design an planning the use of computers become routine for almost every design business. Another use of the computer makes it particularly easy for the client to visualize and understand the designer’s concept.

In residential design, the user of the space, whether apartment, or house , tends not only to show more awareness of design excellence but also to claim a major role in the actual design process .

2.2 SWOT Analysis: After reviewing the status of Damascus regarding economic, social, environmental and geographical situation mainly since the climate Damascus consists of four seasons. It is also rich in handicrafts , agriculture, tourism , trade and industry , there is also Old Damascus parameters of civilization that indicate the way of living and communication between the people of this region, where residents rely purely on local resources but the openness of the City and expansion led to a move away from the appearances of Damascus in modern buildings adjacent to the old city of Damascus , and it was due to the desire of people in the development of their homes thinking that mimic the designs of modern foreign is the best solution but it’s easier because the city cannot separate the buildings from reality and its climate and style of living , which connects all the details of life in and properly , because the purpose of the development is to achieve comfort and harmony in the place. Given that Damascus and Syria is now in a state of war and economic blockade must be reconsidered in the use of local resources and work to develop and update the old structures while preserving its originality, by simplifying forms and know the function of all the elements used in the design process to verify correct functionality of these elements

2.3 Local Context -This research goes on qualitative method research and to meet objective of study. The Research may using many kind of methods started with qualitative data then supported with quantitative data questioner

-The survey set up in at international university for sciences and technology Syria (IUST Syria) and Limkokwing University Malaysia, researcher designed a sampling method flowing the form below:

Sample Population Cluster Sampling

Population of IUST Syria University:

5000 Students, which are 400 students in design Field.

10% of design’s students

N=40

20 males – 20 females

Population of Syrian students at Limkokwing university are 250 students 50 of them in design and architecture field

10% of design and architecture’s students

N=5

2 males – 3 females

“ I chose 40 students at IUST Syria University because 40 students in design field of 400 students, its good sample to get the information and it will be various and each person represents group of people from population of IUST students in design field. And the same for Limkokwing students 5 of 50 students in design and architecture field can represent of that population.”

Page 17: Evaluation of beehive model in interior design

17

From the result of my survey questionnaire I got these Information from the following questions to answer my objective .

Graph: Most of respondents chose modern design which is (30%) this is because it’s successful and desired in Syria Which is (25%) chose contemporary and also (25%) chose eclectic this is because some of Syrian they like it and on the other hand some of them they like its characteristics (10%) of respondents chose Mediterranean style because they like this style. But Syrian people they don’t like to design their houses by tropical style and traditional, this is because tropical so far from our culture as a design and traditional because were many experiments in traditional design but people

they don’t agree of the results .

Questionnaire Results :

1 -Which style of designs you prefer to do your home ?

6- Housing design is well understood in Syria ?

Graph: 60% of the respondents felt neutral that housing design in Syria well understands because Interior design it is New for Arab s country as its human need in another part of the world. This is 20% of respondents they don’t agree that interior design well understood because they found all about to do art or piece of beauty and people apply to design their houses because they prefer to make their houses picture to watch not to live. But 20% of respondent agree that Interior design well understood because they like their houses designs.

Page 18: Evaluation of beehive model in interior design

18

7- Syrian culture is one of the factors in designing your house in Syria ?

Graph: 50 % of respondent agree that is culture one factor in hosing design in Syria because it’s our country which place will live our life and the factors of this place are our truth. But 10% of respondents don’t accept because they like international design more.

11- Interior design is all about art ?

Graph: 40% of respondents agree that interior design is art and preferred with stress of beauty. Which 15% strongly dis agrees that interior design is art because it’s more e functional for them and especially house design.

16 -Beehive company is one of the most effective organization in the world, would its benefits be applicable in your house design?

Graph : 45% of respondents Sign that is Beehive concept good to applicable in Syrian hoses project because bees live together ,work also ,and they can’t achieve in the hive without finishing the previous job they had to do . Its continuous process and. Beehive is a typical example of the nature of precision and organization in Interior Design.

3.0- Conclusion & Recommendation

Conclusion

Evaluating the criteria of interior design in the beehive is an acceptable and successful idea for Syrians considering the synergy and organization, after the studying SWOT, PESTLE Analysis and questionnaire the Question/Answer survey and exploring the samples of beehive and the result was, using the beehive in interior design is as follows:

Beehive consists of three main divisions in the hive such as:

1- Dispatch Room: when addresses of the food

2- Dance floor: performing and observing the dance waggle dance.

3- Auditorium: is a place where bees are able to watch dancers on the dance floor.

The individuals that makes the hive is the queen, male bee, and working bees as each work as a cohesive unit to perform tasks and share responsibilities, same as the Syrian house.

1. Communication: They live together and share it. 2. Needs: what can serve them and make them successful3. Rest: the place they resort to for space and peace of min.

Page 20: Evaluation of beehive model in interior design

20

The queen is the mother, the queen is responsible for laying eggs and the build of the hive, that’s how the mother is in the house as she is responsible for all tasks in the house to keep it together and she is relied on in managing the house as a whole. Working bees, provide service and necessities for the house, the hive for example needs a huge number of working bees to produce honey so the house demands and tasks are responsible for the success of the house and accomplish the comfort to the individuals, the mass number of bees is alert and work in harmony so is the house working the same way in organizing and accomplishing all the demands and needs and provide harmony to serve the house correctly to accomplish all the uses and beauty that come in the comfort of individuals and the feel of accomplishment and success.

Male bee is in the house doesn’t really require him to do much other than doing what he is required to do.

I will use the beehive as a beautiful idea to accomplish the correct task with regard to all the elements in an organized way, correct, random and simple.

Page 21: Evaluation of beehive model in interior design

21

Beehive relies on using building material from the same place it is going to be built own to meet its specifications and provide sustainability, same as Syrian housing, in other words, using the resources from the same place to provide an original feel

I would compare the previous designs with other worldwide success designs. Will use the design operation to meet all the demands with avoiding over using it and avoid the rich approach just for beauty, because it leads to all the demands in life in the first stage.

Those who would live in these places would feel the artistic side and beautiful side that meet their needs for task, this needs an intensive study of all its parts that fulfills their internal demands and needs not only the externals that lead to boredom overtime because every once in a while there are new things to come.

A successful house design changes human’s personality for his need to this fixed place in his life due to his renewable needs in life and that leads to alter our feel or responsibility to meet these demands to fulfill all the desires and demands of human wishes.

Using the beehive is a form of living is strict on its own but its form is random and simple but at the same time it aims to accomplish successful work and goals, this makes us fall in love with it and observe it with interest without having enough details about it.

Recommendation

Interior design:

Everything in life should be considered into the design process. It all goes in order; nothing can be set at random. Interior design is a pillar in our society, and nowadays, people should live in a lifestyle designed to make them happy and comfortable. Finally, a beautiful home reflects its beautiful design.

Interior design is a basic way of life! Everything in life is involved in interior design, this includes, tastes, opinions, persuasive and social

relationships. it’s an organized place which is give a human a comfortable feel Interior design is a basic need for every person to enjoy a pretty interior space , comfortable and

well served The study of interior design, its development and change through history is a useful way both to

explore the past and to make sense of the spaces in which modern life is lived. Professional interior designers are expected to study design history, to know the practices of the

past in terms of "styles," and to know the names and the nature of the contributions of those individuals who generated the most interesting and influential approaches to design.

…The process of linking beauty with function ,,, make u more Regular because when u start planning for your home that's mean you start planning

for your life ...

Page 23: Evaluation of beehive model in interior design

23

Beehive:

Regularly work hard and fast for something specific Beehive is a typical example of the nature of precision and organization in Interior

Design Is something of an extreme level of organization and it has its own independent rules;

those rules are essential and crucial in the hive. Is interrelated and every part of it is attached to each other in the hive. They all work

together as a cohesive unit as one. This way of work, makes them stronger and it just comes to show how a strong family works.

Bees live and work together, and they can’t achieve something they are doing in the hive, without finishing the previous job they had to do. It is a continuous process.
