Why you have chosen your production company logo?

The reason for creating and having this as our production company logo was because we thought it fit into our genre of action with the knifes and bold writing which shows action with weapons and violence which is what action genre is all about is it not? The reason for the colours of the writing being a darkish tone colour is because action is all about explosion and it gets dirty so we thought the colours would symbolise what happens while on the field or in the action. We named the production company AMP which stands for action Movie Production which matches the logo and genre very simple and easy to remember which is why if we were to produce further people would recognise the name and the logo and will be able to match the two together. We believe this name is also very effective as its catchy and different to other production companies.

What is a production company? What do they do?

Production companies are companies which are responsible for creating and developing the actual/physical product themselves of the new media. Production companies job roles are to produce the content whether it's movies, tv shows/series or general tv programs they will be expected to fund the whole operation from paying for all of it and even marketing scripts and deadlines. Which means they are responsible for the production for the specific media broadcast which they are funding for or/and creating.

What is the job role of a film distributor ?

Film distributor is either a single person or company which has the role of actually marketing/selling the film to draw the viewers/audience in. The distributor sets the release date of the film what the film will be available to view e.g. theaters dvd blue ray etc. And even the viewing of the trailer.

Which film distributor would you chose for your film and why? What other films have they distributed that are similar to yours?

The film distributor we have chosen is columbia as they are a very successful company and also distributed similar movies to outs like Men in Black and other films like Spider man back in 2002 which have been very successful movies in the making which is why we have chosen this company to distribute our film as we believe they know what they are doing and have past history of high success rate. Which shows they know what they are doing in this line of work which allows me to give all my trust into this company to sell and profit my film.

How will your film be funded? Lottery? My movie will not require any filming due to all the props we are using are very cheap and simple to get hold of and any other equipment is also easy accessible so we won’t be seeking any funding from third parties.

Titles - Why do you need them? How have you presented them? Film openings must have titles as its a standard procedure to fill them in so you are aware of who's created produced and the main people to come within the film all the titles shown are important and vital people/companies who took part in the entire creation of the film.We ensured all parties who were important were mentioned as they needed there acknowledgement for being such a big role in the creation of the film so we used fancy medium white colour font which allowed users to view the vital information before they were to fade out afterwards.
