What Makes a Living Legend? Living Legends are people from the Lake County community that have a
story to tell about their time in the community, one that we don’t want to see lost to time. These folks
have usually been around a long time and have gained the experience and knowledge that goes along with
their story, which makes it so interesting to the rest of us. We are videotaping their stories for future
generations to see, hear and learn from, as well as for all of us to enjoy. They will be kept in the Historical
Museum. If you know someone you would like to nominate as a possible future Living Legend, please
contact us at [email protected], call 352-483-0046 or see Timothy Totten at a museum event.
