Finland• Most of regions and municipalities are involved in a national process• Plan for regional Joint Action Groups –
some are existing, some are at the start• Quality criteria have been developed• There are different Challenges: For immigrants it is hard to find a work Different needs of boys and girls• The finish national Joint Actions group was working for over 20 years already and is
going to be found again, but not as a permanent group. It now concentrates on certain important themes.

France• In the year 2003 in France a large consultation process and
discussion with the social partners in education took place. The result was the “Report d´Elo”.
• 2004 a new law on education concerning guidance came out. The first time the information for the career awareness is a big task in schools.
• ONICEP is an important integrated organisation of the French ministry for education. It sets up a basis for the National Forums.
