1. Dates

Camp takes place from Saturday, July 31st 2010 to Saturday, August 7th 2010

Early arrival is possible from Wednesday, July 28th

Late departure is possible until Monday, August 9th

Please notice: There will be limited service during this time, and no schedule prepared. If you plan to arrive early or depart late, please make sure to inform us early enough!

2. Location

The camp location is Hundsdorf in the middle of the area called ”Westerwald”, between Cologne and Frankfurt.

Nearest cities are Montabaur and Koblenz. Space is available for around 2000 participants – excluding

playground

3. Registration

In order to organize the camp well and to avoid unnecessary financial risks, we will be very happy if you provide us with information about your participation as early as possible.

Pre registration is due October 31st, 2009. Please use the pre-registration form to inform us about the

number of scouts who will likely join the EuroCamp.

3.1 Registration

Pre payment is due January 31st 2010. Please transfer half of the price times the number of pre-registered scouts.

Final registration is also due Januar 31st, 2010. Send us the final registration form with the final number of participants.

Final payment is due April 30th, 2010. Please transfer the outstanding difference, regarding changed

participant numbers. Wood/poles for tents: Please let us know upon registration if

and how much wood you need for your tents. The registration forms available on the WFIS-Europe website.

4. Price

The price is 150 Euro for the camp with food.

5.1 Main Program

Middle Ages camp with Knights tournament, Bow and arrow competition, Medieval games

Separate program for cubs, scouts and rovers International self-made stage program Singing contest and Main campfire Culture and swap day Visit and explore day Hike competition

6. Transport

You can travel by car, bus, train and airplane. Parking slots are available near by.

The closest airports are Frankfurt International, Cologne International and Frankfurt Hahn.

By Train will be Koblenz Train Station or Montabaur ICE Train Station the closest.

Regional train station Hundsdorf will be opened in Summer 2009 (near camp site).

8. Member participation

International rover crews are welcome to help as staff members.

Every evening there will be a possibility to meet at the camp fire.

Every country will prepare 2 songs for the Singing Contest. Every association will be responsible also for night watch and

cleaning.

9. Subcamps

We will have four sub camps (and a separate camp for the staff ).

Individual associations will not be split up, but nations and/or languages are not necessarily in the same sub camp.

Every sub-camp will have a sub-camp leader. Every sub-camp will have a campfire circle as meeting point.
