Euphrasian basillica

• Euphrasian Basilica in Poreč is one of the most beautifully preserved monuments of the early byzanthine art in the Mediterranean.

• It was built in the 6th century on top of an early christian church during the bishop Euphrasius and the emperor Iustinianus I.

In 1997 UNESCO named it World Heritage monument.

Poreč.
