Objectives  

!  Review  the  ongoing  research  and  theory  developed  on  the  work  produced  by  Étienne  de  Groër  in  Portugal;  His  references  and  his  theoretical  production.    

!  Analyse  the  work  of  the  Russian  architect-­‐urbanist  Étienne  de  Groër  in  the  territory  of  Lisbon.  

!  Demonstrate  that  the  urban  examples  of  E.  G.  do  reflect  urban  example  adapted  classical  urban  forms  for  contemporary  needs,  which  aimed  to  create  a  new  urban  landscape  for  the  modern  society.
