• Use the eFiling login name and password that is linked to EMP201 on eFiling
• Preferably use a blank E@syfile for
synchronisation • Sync on the 15th Of every month
• Click on “synchronise application” under the Utilities option in E@syfile

When clicking on notification centre: application will automatically READ all the new A88 letters, and transfer all A88 details to the Third Party Appointment menu (BULK READ)
Notification centre • The options below the employer details allow you to sort and filter
through letters listed in Notification centre. • A "tick" column was added, where users can select specific messages. • The ARCHIVE button allows a user to hide older items from the list of
correspondence displayed in the Notification Centre. Please note, these items are not removed from the E@syfile master DB, just hidden from display and search options.
• The Restore button will undo this, to display archived letters in the
Notification Centre list again

Request Affordability • The employer indicates that the taxpayer won’t be able to afford the full amount requested • SARS will use the employees IRP5/IT3(a) information to calculate affordability terms • All active AA88 transactions against the specific taxpayer will be cancelled and replaced by new AA88 transactions allowing SARS to determine the monthly instalments.
NOTE: The affordability options (3 and 6 months) have been replaced with an option to “Request affordability”. The employer will in future “request affordability” and SARS will use the employees IRP5/IT3(a) information to calculate affordability terms. If the affordability terms provided by SARS are in the employee’s view too onerous, the employee is required to visit a SARS branch to make necessary arrangements and substantiate what is affordable in order to allow for the employee to pay for basic living expenses
ONCE OUTCOMES ARE UPDATED- DEDUCTIONS CAN BE EXPORTED TO PAYROLL-(EXPORT OPTION FROM E@SYFILE)
ONCE DEDUCTIONS ARE PROCESSED ON PAYROLL SYSTEM YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GENERATE AN EXPORT FILE IN PAYROLL TO UPDATE THE OUTCOMES STATUS ON E@SYFILE (IMPORT FROM PAYROLL OPTION)
Click on Import from Payroll File to start this process. Select the relevant file, and click on Open to import.
THIRD PARTY RECONCILIATION-Indicates the appointments, cancellations, payments (movements) during calendar month
Taxpayer Estate – Deceased • The employer indicates that the taxpayer is deceased • The employer is permitted to reject the AA88 appointment • All active AA88 transactions against the specific taxpayer will be cancelled.

Windows 32-bit, you need 32-bit Java Windows 64-bit, you need 64-bit Java & possibly 32-bit You can have more than one version installed, especially if you online banking requires Java (usually 32-bit) it will usually download the latest version [Just make sure it doesn’t delete the version easyfile needs when it installs.]
