After signing up – open up the Dashboard…. This is where the heart of your WordPress operation will be… I also suggest opening up a live version of the blog… (clicking F5 will refresh the page.) – you can then check how your changes effect the site.

Themes

For ease of use I recommend you choose either the theme twentyten or twentytwelve.. – If you use it on the initial setup to help get you started – you can always change it later…

To alter the theme, change header / background…
