Biography

In the industrial area of Eibar, Guipúzcoa, Spain, in 1945, Ignacio Urresti (belonging to the Company's "The Town", which started as weapons factory, then produced the stapler, circa 1930) designed the pencil sharpener, a solid piece Exceptionally, a crank, 1.29 kilos, copied throughout the world. With this format, were ma de shortly thereafter,€sharpener for use in offices, desks and institutions. So arise desktop pencil sharpener. Manual sharpeners are used today, and have a school use mostly are made for right-handed children. A left-handed children may find it difficult to manage because of the direction that the pen should turn (from left to right) because it is contrary to the natural sense of left-handed

He was born in Fisterra (Galicia) in 1919. When his father's shoemaking business failed, the director of his school made Finisterre pay his tuition by correcting the homework of lower grades. Later he became a construction worker and worked in a print shop.

Finisterre was injured during fascist bombings of Madrid in the Spanish civil war. In hospital he saw many children injured and unable to play football. This was his inspiration for foosball, which was born from the concept of tame tennis. Alejandro credits his friend Francisco Javier Altuna, a Basque carpenter, for making the first foosball game following Finisterre's directions. Although the invention was patented in 1937, Finisterre had to escape to France from the fascist coup d'état, and he lost the patent papers in a storm

This, I already had all the basic features that can be seen in modern military submarine (electric motors, navigation system, torpedoes capable of reaching a surface vessel, periscope, etc ...), and was a scientific and military progress without compared to the time. Peral, vilified and humiliated, ill with cancer, which was complicated by meningitis that killed her 44 years, without receiving any recognition.

Name of the invention:spacesuit

Name of the inventor:Emilio Herrera

Year or century it was invented:1935

Origen country: Spain

Caracteristiques of the invention, use: space suit is a complex system of garments, equipment and environmental systems designed to keep a person alive and comfortable in the harsh environment of outer space.Benefits who reported to the humanity:A space suit must perform several functions to allow its occupant to work safely and comfortably. It must provide:

A stable internal pressure. This can be less than earth's atmosphere, as there is usually no need for the spacesuit to carry nitrogen (which comprises about 78% of earth's atmosphere and is not used by the body). Lower pressure allows for greater mobility, but requires the suit occupant to breathe pure oxygen for a time before going into this lower pressure, to avoid decompression sickness.

Mobility. Movement is typically opposed by the pressure of the suit; mobility is achieved by careful joint design. See the Theories of spacesuit design section.

Breathable oxygen. Circulation of cooled and purified oxygen is controlled by the Primary Life Support System.

Emilio Herrera Linares designed the first space suit history. Scientific and aviator (he was a senior Republican Army during the Civil War), worked with Juan de la Cierva and Leonardo Torres Quevedo in his research. His spacesuit was used as preliminary design of modern astronaut suits, but their membership of the losing side of the Spanish Civil War and his presidency of the Government of the Spanish Republic in exile, caused his ostracism and persecution in Spain during Franco. He died in Geneva in 1967.

Origen country: Spain

Caracteristiques of the invention, use:•The 6-string classical guitar as we know it today developed in Spain from the thirteenth century and the eighteenth century as a modification of the old vihuela. Previously there were other types of stringed instruments with a similar appearance used by troubadours and Moors, but not exactly like the guitar that has survived to this day. The electric guitar, for example, is a direct modification of the old Spanish guitar by Les Paul in the twentieth century.•Benefits who reported to the humanity:•Play wonderful music with an easy instrument to carry, and not too expensive.

Manuel Jalón Corominas (Logroño, La Rioja January 31, 1925), an aeronautical engineer, Air Force officer in the Air Base and Zaragoza Spanish inventor. He invented the wringer for mops and disposable hypodermic needle.

During a stay in the U.S.. UU., Jalón watched the hangars were scrubbed with a flat mop and bucket with rollers. In 1956 began the manufacture of mops using a broomstick to a tuft of cotton strips slipped into a cube, with rollers driven by a pedal. Later, the first vendor Morellón Enrique Falcón, had the idea to apply the mop name, a word that until then had been appointed a woman scrubbing.

This cleaning tool has improved the quality of life for many women in Spain since the late 50's, surpassing the tradition of this country as to clean the floor without kneeling (bursitis of knee and back problems) and without hands wear bleach.

Manuel Jalón, despite the great success of the invention, sold the patent to the Dutch multinational Curver BV, to pursue other projects as were the non-reusable hypodermic syringe.

Although Rioja's birth, grew up in Aragon Jalón, and his inventions, he became a favorite son of the city

Biography: A knife is a knife with a blade pivots on an axis that joins the handle or rope, so that the blade is kept between two handles or a recess made on purpose. There are also knives with a blade longitudinally slides in and out of the handle.

In some Latin American countries, the knife is also called a folding knife. However, in Spain reserves this term for the case of the blade protruding from the handle when closed. Therefore, in a closed folding knife edge is not fully protected by the handle and

requires the use of a cover for carrying.

Add here a photo of the inventor Biography:

.García was born on 17 March 1805 in the town of Zafra in Badajoz Province, Spain. His father was singer and teacher Manuel del Pópulo Vicente Rodriguez García (Manuel García I, 1775–1832). His sisters were María Felicia García Sitches (1808–1836) and Michelle Ferdinande Pauline García (1821–1910). After abandoning his onstage career as a baritone, García began to teach at the Paris Conservatory (1830–48) and the Royal Academy of Music, London (1848–95). Jessie Bond, Camille Everardi, Erminia Frezzolini, Jenny Lind, Mathilde Marchesi, Christina Nilsson, Julius Stockhausen, Marie Tempest, and Henry Wood were among his pupils. He invented a laryngoscope in 1854 and the next year published observations of his own larynx and vocal cords made with a small dental mirror introduced into the throat and using sunlight reflected by another mirror.[1][2] García was interested in movements connected with the production of the singing voice and did not anticipate the importance of laryngoscopy for medicine. Still, the University of Königsberg conferred upon him the honorary degree of M.D. He died in London in 1906 at the age of 101 years and was buried in the churchyard of St. Edward's Catholic church in Sutton Green, Surrey. His grave gives details of his many famous pupils and accomplishments.

On 22 November 1832 in Paris García married the operatic soprano Cécile Eugénie Mayer (Paris, 8 April 1814 – Paris, 12 August 1880). They had two sons and two daughters.[3] Their son Gustave Garcia (1837-1925) was a singer, actor, and author of three books on vocal and stage techniques. Gustave's son, Alberto García (1875-1946), studied voice with his great aunt (Pauline Viardot), became a respected baritone, and produced an edition of his grandfather's treatise on singing (1924).[4]

The origin of the cigarettes, as we know them today, dates from the sixteenth century, when the beggars in Seville began to pick up debris from the leaves of snuff, snuff shredding and rolling the ground in thin rice paper. This practice was exported by sea for much of the world, but also in Spain where they would begin to manufacture, by tobacco companies in the early nineteenth century, since before this practice was considered worthy of people of low quality.
