A reservation guarantees that your site will be held for your arrival. Although reservations are recommended, some campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservation policies Manitoba Parks has developed the following reservation policies to provide convenience and fair access to available campsites. When to make a reservation Group use, cabin, yurt and Birds Hill campsite reservations begin Monday, March 23. Reservations for campsites at Winnpeg Beach and the Whiteshell will open on Monday, April 6. All other campsite reservations will open on Wednesday, April 8. During the season, reservations are restricted during the reservation window. Reservation windows by campground are noted on the chart located on the reverse side. Making reservations for others Making reservations for others is quick and easy. You can make online reservations for yourself and your family and friends. Simply ensure that you have their information handy as reservations must be made in their name. One easy payment secures all reservations. Remember that the name on the reservation must be the permit holder who checks in and occupies the site. Making reservations Reservations must be made in the name of the person occupying the site. Online campsite reservations require individual User IDs and passwords. To speed up your reservation, please be prepared with the following information: • arrival and departure dates • your account number (if available) • your name, address, telephone number and if available, an email address • type of camping unit • vehicle plate number and equipment plate number • number of people in your party • credit card number and expiry date Most campgrounds are now computerized and “in-person” reservations can be made by campground staff. Reservation fee A non-refundable reservation fee of $10.00 is required for each reservation made and must be paid at the time of booking. The reservation fee is in addition to nightly fees. PaymentFull payment is required at the time you reserve your campsite, cabin or yurt. A deposit is required for all group use reservations. VISA and MasterCard are accepted.

Late arrivalsWe understand that there may be times when your arrival is delayed, so we will hold your site until 11 a.m. the next day before cancellation. If you cannot arrive by 11 a.m., you must call the park or call centre to see if a later in day check in can be accommodated. Sites will not be held as a late arrival for longer than one night and will be cancelled as a “no-show” with all fees forfeit.

Cancellations, changes and refundsIf your plans change, please let us know.

• If you cancel four or more days in advance of your arrivaldate, you will receive a refund, less the non-refundablereservation fee.

• If you cancel within three days or less, you will receive arefund, less the non-refundable reservation fee and thefirst night’s camping fee.

• If you cancel after your arrival date, no refund will beissued.

• Changes to reservations regarding dates, location andfacilities may be allowed, depending on availability, for anon-refundable change fee of $4.00. Changes madewithin three days or less of your arrival date that involve alater arrival or moving to another campground location orfacility, will be subject to an additional non-refundablenightly camping fee plus the change fee.

Check-in/check-out timesCampers must check in at the campground office to obtain their permit to occupy a site.

Group Use (Overnight) 4 p.m. 3 p.m.

Group Use (Day) 11 a.m. 11 p.m.

Campsites 4 p.m. 3 p.m.

Early departuresIf you must leave your campsite earlier than your planned departure date, the campground office will refund you for the unused portion of your stay. Some exceptions may apply. There are no refunds on early departures of cabins or yurts.

Long weekends, Folk Festival and other opportunitiesThe minimum reservation for long weekends is two nights and must include a Saturday night. Cabins and yurts require a two-night minimum at all times. There is a specific three-night minimum at Birds Hill Provincial Park during the Winnipeg Folk Festival. Certain sites in select locations offer a specific seven night minimum stay. There are no refunds on early departures when a minimum stay requirement is in effect.

Extending your stayRenewals may be made at the campground office. All renewals are subject to campsite availability and maximum stay requirements.

Maximum stayYou may book stays for up to 21 nights, depending on campsite availability, at all locations. Family vacation cabins and yurts have maximum stay limits of 14 nights.

Number of bookingsYou may book up to five sites per call/online session, although lower limits may be placed in the event of high call volumes (ex: first week of April). The reservation fee applies to each stay and site reserved.

Age requirementThe minimum age requirement for reserving and being issued a camping permit is 16. The minimum age requirement for cabins and yurts is 18.

Site closuresPeriodically, the Parks Reservation Service will close sites due to flooding or storms. Every effort will be made to assist you with alternate arrangements.

Vehicle Park Entry PermitsPark vehicle permits must be displayed year-round in provincial parks. Purchase your permit online at manitobaelicensing.ca. Permits are also available at all campground and district offices.
