The sun’s ray’s peek trough tree-lined streets, famolies wander through the park & couples sit in cosy cafes enjoying a quiter side of life. Quaint boutiques nestle amongst ricerside bunga-lows, chic villas & grand homrd. Stroll in the morning, read under a leafy oak or contemplate on the banks &watch the sun melt over the river.

Of all the things I can do in Surfers, all I want is this sun-drenched day. Watching cruisers come & go on the river bend from this hidden, relaxed enclave of Surfers. Parks by the wa-ter, drink on the dek and as the sun sets over the hinterland & the water turns to a golden glisten, this is where we end our day.

Day, night or both... it’s your choice in this urban hub. Board shorts & bikinis share the sun-drenched streets with suits & skirts. Inviting aromas from restaurants fill the air while buskers entertain shoppers clutching their latest treasures and as the lights spread their glow, the energetic nightlife scene emerges.

The horizon on the blue ocean & cool sea breeze offer a mem-orable greeting. Seagulls flock as sun drenched surfers stroll up the beach weaving between sunbathers & families. It’s a place to chill-out< to embrace the best of beach life. Ride your bike with friends, stroll on the water’s edge, or grab a drink in a beachside bar while eatching the shadows grow longer.

Old school Surfers Paradise is alive & well. Beach shacks, retro walk-up hotels, restaurants spanning generations, funky bars, flickering neon & the occasional street entertainment filter through the air. We hang out here dreaming of a bygone era: lazy drinks by the pool, hamburguers & wayfarer.
