ADJUSTABLE CLAMPS ON FROG PLATES FP-1, FP-2 AND FP-3 TO INSURE
PROPER FIT. FROG PLATES WILL BE WELDED TO THE GAGE PLATES IN THE
FIELD WITH A 3 PASS " + FILLET WELD. PLATES WILL BE WELDED ONLY
AFTER THE GAGE PLATES ARE SECURED IN THE PROPER LOCATION ON THE TIE
WITH THE FROG IN PLACE AT PROPER ALIGNMENT. 15. GUARD RAIL PLATES
ARE TO BE INSTALLED AND WELDED TO THE FROG GAGE PLATES IN THE FIELD
WITH A 3 PASS " + FILLET WELD CONTINUOUS ON BOTH ENDS OF THE PLATE.
PLATES ARE TO BE WELDED ONLY AFTER THE GAGE PLATE AND THE FROG IS
