Bring back the Peatbog Soldiers

In 1933 german actor and theatrical

director wolfgang langhoff (1901-

1966) was dragged to the nazi

concentration camp of Borgermoor.

after more than a year imprisonment

he was released and then managed

to escape to switzerland.

The song of the peat bog soldiers,

composed and performed by

prisoners of the börgermoor camp,

became a famous protest song.

8 factory workers, the artist, 6 industrial

sewing machines, T-shirt fabric,

one day production.

The T-shirt slogans are:

‘Illegal Alien’, ‘Send ‘em Back’,

‘Give ‘em Hell’, ‘Alien Mother’

and ‘Bloody Foreigners’.

A group of eight workers sit in rows

working on industral sewing machines,

manufacturing T-shirts; the artist paints

slogans onto the T-shirts at the end of

the production line.

Art Lessons for Invisible Children

Installation

4 photographs 30x20cm, 8 children’s

drawings, wooden panel with children’s

drawings onto it.

As an installation, the photographs are

combined with framed original children’s

drawings made during a series of art

lessons, 20x30cm each.

The Rights

Single screen videos

Each video’s duration is between 7 and

11min. DVD-Pal, black and white, loop.

‘The Rights’ project consists of 4 episodes,

entitled:

‘The Rights, I am Macedonian’,

‘The Rights, I am Serbian’,

‘The Rights, I am Romanian’,

and ‘The Rights, ‘I am Bosnian’.

In some circumstances, the examination may be conducted by a Grand Chamber consisting of seventeen judges(Art.30).
