• One of the major roles of the Holy Spirit is to Teach. • ‘All things’ would include fundamental beliefs and much more. • The Holy Spirit removes doubts ... Answers deep rooted questions and allows the truth to lighten our path. • He removes forgetfulness and brings to our memory the message(s) that is most needed for the hour.

from a Guide?• A Guide gives directions • He walks the road with you• He removes those gray areas ... Those border line issues that are confusing• We are able to clearly discern the right from the wrong.

• The Holy Spirit will shield us from the constant

attack of false teachers and prophets.

• These winds of doctrine will also pass by. We will

stand tall .

If we choose, He will keep us in the truth and take us

to the destination

Former Rain Experience Holy Spirit Convicts us

“When he is come, he

will convict the world of sin, and of

righteousness, and of

judgment” John 16 : 8

• The Holy Spirit Convicts us of sin

• The Holy Spirit enables us to recognize sin within our culture and in simple harmless routines. • An old man told me “The Holy Spirit brings to my memory sins of my childhood and youth ... Sins that I have not confessed and received forgiveness for.” • His holy flame purges us of all unrighteousness making us an acceptable sacrifice.

• The Holy Spirit convicts us of His

Judgment.

• He often reminds me that judgment is not a future event• My case in the heavenly courts can come up today• That I need to live a consistent Christian life• That judgment is something I need not be afraid ... Its a process through which Jesus makes a claim for my eternity.

Former Rain Experience

Holy Spirit our Helper

“And I will pray the

Father, and He will give you another Helper, that

He may abide with

you forever.”

John 14: 16

• This verse is rendered differently ...Comforter ... Friend ... Helper • In this busy world a Helper is someone you cannot do without • He makes our life complete and comfortable• David says, “God is my Helper” Ps. 54: 4 • He seems to have befriended the Holy Spirit. • Unlike Jesus (who ascended to His heavenly Father), the Holy Spirit is to abide with us forever ... With us and in us.

The Old becoming New is a Miracle. It can only be done by Jesus.

Latter Rain – Harvesting the Fields

• It’s a farming terminology• Latter Rain prepares the

fields for harvest … it effects the size of the grain / fruit, the plant (60 – 80 – 100 fold) … helps in ripening of the field

• Latter Rain equips & empowers one to be co-laborers with Heavenly agents to Finish His Work .

• You receive Gifts of the Spirit.

Latter Rain – A Corporate Experience

•The Former Rain is a Personal experience –

leading to recreation of individuals.

• The Latter Rain is a Corporate experience – it

falls upon groups of people. It is for the revival of the Church and for

building His Kingdom.

Latter Rain Experience Baptism by Fire

Words of John the Baptist“I baptize you with water … But after me will come one … He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”

Matthew 3 : 11•In Former Rain experience one is born of the Spirit. Here we are baptized by the Spirit. • Totally immersed ... Anointed by the Spirit. • The Holy Spirit puts us on fire ... And like the fire, we touch everyone in our path for eternity.

WITNESS … at home, in the neighborhood, city

you live … unto the ends of your country

and the earth.

Powerful Church

“And these signs will follow those who

believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new

tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them;

they will lay hands on the sick, and they will

recover.” Mark 16:

17,18.

“And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the

people.” Acts

6: 8

• The Gospel is powerful ... It transforms harden hearts .... Brings healing of the mind and body ... Liberates from slavery ... It encounters powers of darkness as it reclaims people and places.

• Wherever it is preached signs and wonders will FOLLOW if the messenger allows God’s power to flow through him / her. • For too long we have focused on false miracles and messengers. Let us not doubt the power of the Holy Spirit.

Remember, if fake exists then original has to be there (the ration might

be huge. Like in the case of Elijah - 1 true prophet : 450 false

prophets).

Latter Rain Experience Persecuted Church

Stephen’s Vision“But Stephen, full of the Holy

Spirit, looked up to heaven and

saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of

God.”

• Persecution helped in spreading the Gospel.• The persecuted triggered faith in the unbelieving onlookers.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it

remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.” John 12:24

Receiving the Former & Latter Rain

“All we have to do is to keep the vessel clean and right side up and

prepared for the reception of the

heavenly rain, and keep praying, Let the latter rain come into

my vessel.” EGW, UL 283

* It is time that we, Bible believing Christians, experience the Former and the Latter rain.

The Holy Spirit desires to lead you into this

powerful transforming Former Rain experience
