Mary's interest in journalistic storytelling started in the 4th grade when she created a newspaper called the Manor Ridge Report. Fast-forward to SAVE NYC HORSE CARRIAGES, narrated by Liam Neeson, and we find Mary is still telling neighborhood stories, this time its one of big money politics clashing with jobs, and the draft horses on 59th street.

After retiring from print in 6th grade Mary became a critically acclaimed filmmaker whose dramatic feature HOME (2009) starring Marcia Gay Harden received Oscar buzz for Hardens performance. HOME enjoyed wide distribution, international festival play, outstanding reviews and was listed Best of Fest alongside the top features on the 2009 festival circuit. That same year Mary directed Cathedrals a music video, which was nominated for LOGOs Music Video of the Year.

Mary has written and directed numerous commercials, docs and shorts as well as three indie features. Mary is a co-founder Haverstick Films a fully operational production company and post studio.

Victoria grew up on a Jersey Dairy farm in New Hampshire. Her passion for the care of animals was instilled in her from the beginning. The animals needs always came first on the farm.Since 1968 she has always taken in the horses that everyone else has given up on, trying to turn their lives around by giving them one last chance. One or two at a time, horses have come in and out of her life, inspiring her to firmly believe that there is always a horse out there in need of refuge and always a need for someone to feel responsible and intervene on that animal's behalf.

Establishing the Last Chance Corral was the realization of her vision of creating a much-needed facility to oer at-risk horses asylum. Today the Last Chance Corral proudly oers horses hope, shelter and opportunity regardless of their situation or problems.Be it psychological or physiological, they are committed to addressing the individual diet, treatment regimens and training programs for each horse according to its needs.

When a horse has been suciently rehabilitated, Victoria does the work to find appropriate forever adoptive homes, which suit the horse's needs and abilities as well as those of the new owner.Last Chance Corral serves adult horses year round, but the first 7 months of each year are spent focusing on caring for and adopting out rescued nurse-mare foals. To date, the Last Chance Corral has rescued and found loving forever homes for over 2300 nurse-mare foals.
