Specialist Talent IntroductionsFor rare skills we present clients with the opportunity to view first to market candidates before other clients areexposed to the candidate. This ensures that our clients have first option to highly skilled specialists. This service ischarged at a monthly fixed rate. Clients would need to inform us of which talent they are seeking and we wouldensure that all suitable talent within these fields are presented to you first.

Onsite Recruitment/Project ManagedWe offer our clients an onsite recruitment service. For clients with more than 20 temps at their premises Equasionwill ensure that there is an onsite consultant based at your premises if required. Equasion Consulting staff hasextensive experience within onsite recruitment.

Induction programmesEquasion Consulting is able to manage induction programmes on behalf of the client. We will gather and compilematerial required for the induction, present, manage the completion of employment contracts and conductorganisational classroom training. We adhere to the client’s requirements and code of conduct.

Receiving the job specificationJob specifications are loaded onto our internal recruitment software. We clarify the role requirements and packageoffered with the client. For new clientele, we will schedule a visit to the client’s premises to gain an understanding ofthe company and departmental culture, challenges, goals and expectations from an agency. Please note that prior tomeeting with a client we will conduct online research into the organisation so you can expect our team to already bequite knowledgeable about your company before meeting with us. Once we have an accurate understanding wesearch our databases.

Attracting talentShould we not find the right candidate on our database we advertise the position on our website and external jobportals. An element of “search” is normally involved in the process where we network with candidates and contactsto discover that perfect fit for the role. Advertisements are compiled with care by consultants who are trained incopywriting ads.

ScreeningWhen screening CVs we compare the CV accurately to the client’s requirements by extracting the most importantcriteria. Should there be any information missing from a CV in order for us to make the best decision we will clarifythis with the candidate. We are prepared before we interview a candidate; each interview is unique and is based onthe client’s key requirements for the role. Approximately 15 minutes of the interview is dedicated to marketing therole, company and industry to the candidate. We prefer our candidates to leave an interview feeling on top of theworld, confident and feeling that they were treated with respect.

AssessmentsEquasion Consulting utilises E-Skill Assessment Software which is an online based assessment that candidates maycomplete at our offices or alternatively at a venue of their choice. In addition, we offer clients PsychometricAssessments.

We conduct 2 reference checks.Reference questions are tailored per role and consultants can probe deeply into a candidate if needed. We ensurethat we contact landline numbers only and include the name of the referee and the contact number should the clientwish to verify any information.

Presentation of CVSPlease note that we are able to work effectively with a client’s eRecruitment technology should CVs need to beuploaded online. Accompanying the CV are the testing results, verification results and references conducted.

Arranging InterviewsWe arrange interviews for the client with the candidate/s. We also provide clients with insight into which high skilledcandidates may be in demand from competitors to ensure the interview is expedited to avoid losing the candidate tothe competition. After interviews have taken place we make contact with both the client and the candidate to obtainfeedback. Please note that candidates who attend interviews are prepared effectively by Equasion Consulting toensure that the client and the candidate derive the most from the interview.

Salary NegotiationsOnce the offer is presented to Equasion will discuss this with the candidate. We will normally request a “dummy”payslip from the client so that the candidate can view the take home salary. We manage counter-offers.

Follow-upsOn the day the candidate begins work we follow-up to ensure that both the client and candidate is satisfied. We willdo regular follow-ups during the guarantee period and probe any frustrations and challenges; as well as taking thetime to motivate the candidate. Should any issues arise we would consult with the client tactfully.

WelcomeUpon entering our employ as a temporary employee we provide our candidates with a Welcome Booklet which detailsall information regarding Equasion Consulting’s do’s and don’ts, procedures and contracts. In addition, we like toinclude information regarding the client’s employer brand and code of conduct for them to peruse.

Official InductionFor larger groups of temps we conduct an onsite induction and take them through the client’s premises to ensure theyare comfortable and ready to begin their assignment.

Mentoring/Performance ManagementWe have all relevant performance management procedures in place and work very closely with temporary staff tomanage their performance. For instances where we have an onsite consultant at the client’s premises managing largergroups of temps we will performance manage staff based on the client’s needs. All disciplinary issues are handled byKaroon Karrim personally.

PayrollWe run our weekly and monthly payroll with absolute integrity and have all the necessary systems in place to ensurethat temporary staff members are paid on time; including payment of PAYE, UIF and Skills development levies to theDepartment of Labour.

Retention of tempsWe retain our top temps by making sure that we have sufficient work for them within our client base and by beingselective with our clients. We provide our temps with fantastic benefits, treat them with the utmost respect, providethem with honest feedback and value their skills.

Free CoachingWe have honed our coaching skills through years of experience and we offer this to our temporary and permanentcandidates. We assess our temps before entering a client’s environment and provide coaching that is needed toensure they are prepared.

Payment of FlightsAt the sole discretion of Equasion Consulting we pay for flights for select candidates to attend interviews; dependingon the seniority of the role.

Free Psychometric testingEquasion Consulting offers the client free psychometric assessments for positions offering a package of > R500 000.00per annum for those candidates who have reached final interview stage.

Free Training for tempsWe offer our temps free quarterly customer service training held at our venue or alternatively at the clients venue (forlarger groups of temporary staff).

Free Induction TrainingFor clients requiring larger groups of temps we provide free induction training.

Achievement BookletWe offer our temps an achievement booklet which tracks their work history whilst temping, provides a record oftraining received and includes references from all their positions worked whilst in our employ.

Free SurveysClients supply Equasion Consulting with a question that they would like us to ask candidates during all interviews in anarea that they would like to gain an understanding. We incorporate this into our interviews. All responses aredocumented and forwarded to the client.

Free Workshops offered to HRWe offer free topical workshops to HR personnel periodically throughout the year where we discuss relatedrecruitment issues that affect HR. These workshops are held at the client’s premises.
