• Are your nominations in a cupboard on paper – not on the spine?
• Can you put your token in the printer the right way around?
• To get smartcards, you need a sponsor – NHS England Process
• Requests from sponsors for staff - UIM request, contact 0114 3051030 to book appointment
• NHS Choices is the reference point for your pharmacy

NHS England sign as the sponsor for sponsors
Smartcard Changes UIM2 – is in development due Autumn 2014 –‘CareID’ but confirmation of this new name is yet to be agreed.
Information from smartcards will be transferred to UIM2, ready for existing systems to be switched off in December.Processes will need to be revised but e-learning training will be available from HSCIC to support sponsors. A communication plan is being developed by the Project Manager for UIM2
