1:13 But to which of the angels said he at anytime, Sit on my right hand, until I make thineenemies thy footstool?

1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sentforth to minister for them who shall be heirs ofsalvation?

2:1. Therefore we ought to give the moreearnest heed to the things which we have heard,lest at any time we should let [them] slip.

2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a littlelower than the angels for the suffering of death,crowned with glory and honour; that he by thegrace of God should taste death for every man.

2:13 And again, I will put my trust in him. Andagain, Behold I and the children which Godhath given me.

3:1. Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of theheavenly calling, consider the Apostle and HighPriest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

3:2 Who was faithful to him that appointedhim, as also Moses [was faithful] in all hishouse.

3:4 For every house is builded by some [man];but he that built all things [is] God.

3:7. Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, Today if ye will hear his voice,

3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, ifwe hold the beginning of our confidencestedfast unto the end;

3:15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear hisvoice, harden not your hearts, as in theprovocation.

3:16 For some, when they had heard, didprovoke: howbeit not all that came out ofEgypt by Moses.

3:17 But with whom was he grieved fortyyears? [was it] not with them that had sinned,whose carcases fell in the wilderness?

4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying inDavid, To day, after so long a time; as it is said,To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not yourhearts.

4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, thenwould he not afterward have spoken of anotherday.

4:11. Let us labour therefore to enter into thatrest, lest any man fall after the same example ofunbelief.

4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, andpowerful, and sharper than any twoedgedsword, piercing even to the dividing asunder ofsoul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow,and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intentsof the heart.

4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto thethrone of grace, that we may obtain mercy, andfind grace to help in time of need.

5:2 Who can have compassion on the ignorant,and on them that are out of the way; for that hehimself also is compassed with infirmity.
