3. SUMMARY The institution of Institutes of Professional
Training (IPT) which functions under the National System of
Professional Education and Training Constitutes a step for a way
out for the professional re-establishment of thousands of young
people afterwards their graduation from the secondary education.
They are worked out by instructors with particularly formal and
professional qualifications, who on their turn have specific
training needs. With this empiric research, in which 131
instructors of IPT of Sivitanidios Faculty participated, the
investigation of their training needs is attempted. The educative
and demographic profile of the participants is recorded and
evaluated, with guide the principals of 01adults education and
their experience from previous training action. The models of
training that suit in the wishes and the personal restrictions of
particular instructors are detected. The necessity of training of
the sample is certified, and the motives that participants find
more charming for their attendance in a training program, emerge.
Finally, the issues of a program planned specifically for this
population, are investigated. The results and the conclusions of
this project can be used as a guide to organize training programs
in IPT, but also as a basis of comparison for similar researches in
