1.0 Purpose and Scope This work instruction details how to do quantity adjustments in Epicor. This work instruction can only be performed by Purchasing, or other personnel with an Epicor account and password having the correct rights assigned within the system.

2.0 Definitions

Epicor Vista Enterprise Resource Planning software and database

used at Wacom Quartz to control Sales, Purchasing,

Production and Inventory data.

3.0 Procedure

3.1 Quantity Adjustments

3.1.1 Navigate to Material Management > Inventory Management > General Operations > Quantity Adjustments, and then, follow the below steps in the order as they appear:

3.1.2 Type in the part number that needs to be adjusted.

3.1.3 Verify that the “Warehouse” and “Bin” information are correct. 3.1.4 Type in the quantity that needs to be adjusted by. Note, this number can be positive or negative depending on how you need to adjust the on-hand quantity. 3.1.5 Select the “Reason” for the change. Pick the one that best fits the situation 3.1.6 Type in a short and concise line about the change under “Reference” 3.1.6 Most commonly used are: -Physically counted less -Physically counted more -Physical Inv. Yr End 20XX

3.1.7 Below is an example of the Quantity Adjustments screen that has been all filled out. Once everything is how you want it, click on “Save”. After you hit “Save”, you will see the quantity under “On Hand” change; verify it changes to what you wanted.

3.2 Quantity Adjustments Records

3.2.1 Quantity Adjustments Records are stored electronically in Epicor under “Part

Transaction History Tracker” with the transaction “Type” of “ADJ-QTY”.
