Historical Background-Taman Tasik Titiwangsa

Location: No.5, Lorong Titiwangsa 6, 53200, KL, WPKL, Malaysia

Situated in northeast part of Kuala Lumpur

Began to build in year 1975

A years abandoned giant tin-mining pit before transformed into

a recreational park in mid-70s.

Year 1980, Datuk Hussein Onn, former prime minister declared new name:

Taman Jalan Kuantan Taman Tasik Titiwangsa

`Types of Park- Recreational Park Open space provided for recreational activities like cycling and jogging,

a place suitable for everyone regardless of age range.

Self: relax the mind

Family: picnics during weekend, children-playground; adult: workout stations

Tourist: water activities: canoeing, aqua-biking

Community:

Public Communication: group activities like aerobics- an instructor instructs all the people to do a

movement

Intercultural communication: can communicate and understand the content of conversation although in

different races
