ht city party 03 New Delhi, Monday, April 02, 2012 O n Saturday morning, The Asian Heritage Foundation celebrated the third anniversary of JIYO, an organisation that aims to improve the lives of rural artisans. Held at C 52, South Extension, the celebrations also marked the orientation programme of the artists, who are representing India at the forthcoming Alchemy Festival in London. Hosted by Rajeev Sethi, the initia- tor of JIYO, the event was inaugurated by internation- al fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg. Some of the guests seen were MP Renuka Chaudhary and entrepreneur Sam Pitroda. Held at ITC Maurya, Sardar Patel Marg, it was the engagement ceremony of Yes Bank’s founder and CEO, Rana Kapoor’s daughter, Raakhe, with entrepreneur Alkesh Tandon. Some of the guests seen at the event were industrialists Lakshmi Niwas Mittal, Anil Ambani, Pia Singh, heavy industries and public enterprises minister Praful Patel, union minister of state for commerce and indus- try Jyotiraditya Scindia, and designers Ritu Beri and JJ Valaya.
