Eastern Oregon appeared in the Top 25 for a school-record 22nd straight time. Th e Mountaineers have been in the Top 25 in 27 of the last 28 polls. EOU has been in the Top 25 in every poll dating back to the 2009-10 preseason poll when it received votes.

Th e Deacons begin the season 0-4 with a pair of losses to Cascade Collegiate Con-ference opponents, Concordia (94-62) and Corban (85-56). Kyle Pierce is in his fi rst year as head coach of NHCC.
