ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS:
-are defined as problems with the planet's systems (air, water, soil, etc.) that have developed as a result of human interference or mistreatment of the planet.
Three of the environmental problems will be presented:
1. Improper waste disposal2. Illegal Dumping3. Mining
IMPROPER WASTE DISPOSAL
is the disposal of waste in a way that has negative consequences for the environment. Examples include littering, hazardous waste that is dumped into the ground, and not recycling items that should be recycled.

includes erosion, formation of sinkholes, loss of biodiversity, and contamination of soil, groundwater, surface water by chemicals from mining processes.

ILLEGAL DUMPING
Illegal dumping, also called fly dumping or fly tipping, refers to dumping waste illegally instead of using an authorized method such as relying on kerbside collection or using an authorized rubbish dump. It is the illegal deposit of any waste onto land; waste dumped or tipped on a site with no license to accept waste.
