2012 Product Overview

Our CookstovesOur cookstoves are beautifully engineered to meet the environmental needs of our planet and the desires of families around the world. Uniting combustion science and cutting edge product design, we create highly efficient, clean burning cookstoves that are as durable as they are beautiful. Envirofit has helped more than 300,000 families breathe healthier air and spend less time and money on fuel. And the world’s forests breathe easier, too.

Our Lighting ProductsWe know how to create products that are at the center of indoor living. Beautiful products that people want to own and care for – engineered to last. That’s why we’ve created Envirofit Lighting. Durable. Affordable. Desirable.

Envirofit Quality Testing Services (EQTS)Through years of hard work, Envirofit has gained a deep understanding of what it takes to make clean and efficient cookstoves and energy products. So we have created our own engineering service business to assist household energy programs and projects around the world. We want to share our knowledge with the world.

The Envirofit WayWe believe the right clean energy products put in the hands of people in emerging markets can change the world. Those products must be affordable, durable and desirable. This can only be done by combining advanced engineering, flexible manufacturing, and modern product design strategies. Creation of local jobs and helping local entrepreneurs develop their businesses. That’s what we do.

Rigorous Engineering & Testing

A clean, efficient cookstove is a simple idea. But designing and producing hundreds of thousands of cookstoves that are both durable and affordable is very complicated. It requires the best science and technology on the planet.

Envirofit and Oak Ridge National Laboratories worked together to create a proprietary alloy which provides the lowest cost, highest performing and most durable combustion chamber ever used in a clean cookstove.

Rigorous Engineering & Testing

We have developed new testing and modeling techniques that allow us to develop products faster – to meet the changing needs of a diverse global market place.

Our Stoves Lab at Colorado State UniversityBefore a new cookstove product is ready for high volume production, we subject our prototypes to rigorous stress testing that simulates multiple lifetimes of use. We want to be the ones that find and fix problems, not our customers. To meet this challenge, we partnered with Colorado State University to create the most advanced cookstove emissions testing laboratory in the world.

In Country Building OptionsFlexible manufacturing strategies are core to Envirofit’s business model.

For this product, we will rely on local and regional capacity for assembly and installation of stoves, as well as the production of certain components when possible. This approach supports the government objective of creating jobs generation, while also ensuring the highest product quality.

We are working with governmental partners in Honduras to support the scale up and roll out of their National Stove Program. The current goal is to produce and distribute more than half a million stoves over the next few years. We are very proud to say that Envirofit has been selected as the exclusive stove provider for this program. We are replicating this manufacturing model throughout the region.

3GT Turbo Wood Cookstove

The Envirofit G3T forced draft cookstove builds on the performance and efficiency of our G-3300 platform. By introducing a small amount of forced air into the combustion chamber, we can more precisely control the air to fuel ratio in the flame. This creates more complete combustion and lower emissions.

The Envirofit G3T is in preproduction form currently and will be available in mid/late 2012 as consumer demand dictates.

CH-4400 Charcoal Cookstove

The CH-4400 is the world’s cleanest burning charcoal cookstove. It’s carbon monoxide emissions levels are below the World Health Organization’s 60 minute exposure limits.

The key to unlocking the lowest carbon monoxide emissions in the world is its two part design and its patent pending insulated metal alloy combustion chamber that reflects radiated heat back to the charcoal coal bed, which destroys virtually all of the carbon monoxide normally associated with typical charcoal stoves.

It’s a beautiful design with money saving performance and ultra-low carbon monoxide emissions. Our patent pending insulated metal alloy combustion chamber makes it a durable product that will last for years.

Stove Accessories

The G-3355 Double pot accessory with chimney is the perfect add-on for customers who want the portability and ease of using the single-pot stove, but need the extra cooking area for large families, festivals, or cooking for visitors.

The attachment is easily moved onto or off of the stove for quick change ability but is steady and sturdy while attached.

The integrated chimney can be used as is – to move any minimal emissions out of the face of the person cooking – or it can be vented out of the home.

Pressure cookers require less energy and use less water, bringing food to cooking temperature faster, and allowing customers to cook much faster.

The Envirofit pressure cooker also makes food safer, since the food is cooked at temperatures above the normal boiling point of water, killing bacteria and viruses.

31

LPG accessory attachment allows customers the flexibility to use either biomass or LPG fuels in their cookstove. The attachment is easily transferred in/out of the stove for quick change ability.

Using a pot skirt increased the efficiency of the cookstove even more, as it forces the heat from the biomass to very precisely and efficiently transfer to the pot.

The grill attachment is a great accessory for grill-ing meat or vegetables. In early 2012, Envirofit is launching a grill attachment for both the CH-2200, and CH-5200 to ensure an opportunity for a ‘com-plete’ cooking experience.
