Adding Ensemble Marketing Codes and Partner IDs to your
Database Refer to the Ensemble Marketing Categories and Codes list at the end of this document to determine if categories and/or codes need to be added to your database. If both a category and related codes need to be added, create the category first. To add a Marketing Category:
1. Select Global Defaults > Profile Defaults > Marketing Categories
2. Select Add. 3. Enter the Category Name. 4. Select OK.

To add a Marketing Codes and Partner IDs:
1. Go to Global Defaults > Profile Defaults > Marketing Codes.
2. Select Add
3. Select the Category you need to add the code to. 4. Enter the name of the Marketing Code. 5. Enter the Marketing Partner ID. 6. Click on OK.

E-Marketing: ClientBase Windows Unlimited Names Plan Details:
All profiles your agency wants to be Cohorted need to be flagged with the Bonus Names marketing code (Marketing Partner ID E0708). Only include profiles that have a full address and email with marketing permission checked.
Add Bonus Names marketing code to all profiles
1. Search for all Leisure Profiles 2. In the display area, right click and choose Select All. The list of profiles will turn blue.
3. Right click again and choose Add Marketing Code

All profiles Agency wants included need to be flagged with the Bonus Names marketing code (Marketing Partner ID E0708) up to 5,000 profiles. Note: Profiles over 5,000 are charged $100 per 1,000 profiles.
Update Individual Profiles with Marketing Codes
1. Open the profile 2. Select the Marketing Codes link 3. Move down to the appropriate Category 4. Select the appropriate Code
Update Multiple Profiles with Marketing Codes
1. Use your advanced search to find the profiles to update 2. Select Tools > Global Modify
3. Select the Marketing Fields tab 4. Click on the drop down and select the marketing category

Pubications and Target Mail: Ensemble Selects Paid Names Plan Details:
Agency clears old Ensemble Lifestyles, Ensemble Vacations and Bonus Names marketing codes
All profiles are designated with the Bonus Names marketing code (Marketing Partner ID E0708)
Ensemble will select the names that are considered ‘Paid’ based on Cohorting
After first publications are sent, mailer records will be loaded into the agency’s database for Ensemble Vacations
Agency will query for the mailer records and global modify to update profiles with the appropriate marketing code (Ensemble Vacations E0707)
Agency will ‘count’ the number of paid names to ensure they did not exceed their total paid names
Agency will ensure Bonus Names ‘count’ does not exceed the contract allotment
Clear old codes for Ensemble Lifestyles, Ensemble Vacations and Bonus Names
1. Select the Level 3 Tab 2. Select Add Filter
3. General Info Tab: Select Profile Type Leisure 4. Marketing Tab: Select Ensemble Vacations 5. Select OK
14. Go to Utilities > Global Modify 15. Select the Marketing Fields tab 16. Click the drop down and select the Publications Codes category (or the category that contains the Ensemble
Vacations code) 17. Select Ensemble Vacations 18. Make sure REMOVE MARKETING CODES is selected 19. Select Global Modify Now
20. Repeat this process selecting Ensemble Lifestyles and Bonus Names. a. Keep in mind Ensemble Lifestyles may be in a different Marketing category.

Query for specific Mailers that have been created for Direct Mail marketing.
1. Find the Mailer ID associated with the Ensemble Vacation publication by logging into the Ensemble Marketing Center.
a. Click on the Promotion Description b. Locate the Mailer ID
2. In ClientBase, Select the Profile Manager 3. Select the Level 3 Tab 4. Select Add Filter
5. Activities Tab: Does Have Activity Records with the following criteria 6. Activity Type = Mailers 7. Move down to the Mailer ID field. Click on the drop down and select Is Equal To. Enter the Mailer ID.

8. Select OK 9. Select Refresh 10. These are all your profiles that have been selected to receive the Ensemble Vacations publication based on
Cohorting. 11. Add the Marketing Code (see directions below)
Add Marketing Codes for specific Mailers
1. In the display area, right click and choose Select All. The list of profiles will turn blue.
2. Right click again and select Add Marketing Code

Verify total Paid Names

8. Verify the Profile count matches your Ensemble contract for Paid Names.
Verify total Bonus Names
IMPORTANT!!! Based on your contact count of Bonus Names, you cannot have more than your allotment. For example, if your contact allows 1,500 Bonus Names, only 1,500 profiles can have the Bonus Names marketing code checked. You will need to query your database for all profiles flagged with Bonus Names and check the count (similar to Paid Names). You will then need to do one of two things:
1. Remove the Bonus Names marketing code for all profiles and add it to profiles up to your allotted amount

a. For Example, if you have 3,500 profiles flagged with Bonus Names, remove the marketing code for ALL 3,500 profiles add the marketing code for your allotted amount.
2. Remove the Bonus Names marketing code for any profiles over your allotment. a. For example, if you have 3,500 profiles flagged with Bonus Names but your contract allows only
1,500, you will need to remove the Bonus Names marketing code from 2,000 profiles.
Remove Bonus Names marketing code from all profiles NOTE: Perform this ONLY if you will be manually checking the Bonus Names marketing code to profiles. See ‘Verify total Bonus Names’ above.

If Agency plans to use the same paid name coding as the previous year, convert Ensemble Lifestyles to Ensemble Vacations.
If Agency wants to change the names previously selected, clear old codes from Ensemble Vacations, Ensemble Lifestyles and Bonus Names.
Agency identifies profiles for Ensemble Vacations
Agency will query and update profiles with the appropriate marketing code (Ensemble Vacations E0707)
If the agency’s marketing plan includes bonus names, agency will query profiles not included in the Ensemble vacations E0707 and will designate with the Bonus Names marketing code (Marketing Partner ID E0708 up to the Contract allotment)
Agency will ‘count’ the number of paid names to ensure they did not exceed their total paid names
Agency will ensure Bonus Names ‘count’ does not exceed the contract allotment
