All lndia lnstitute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar has been established as anAutonomous lnstitution and lnstitute of National lmportance through the All-lndia lnstitute ofMedical Sciences (Amendment) Act, 2012. By virtue of this Act, the lnstitute grants its own medicaldegrees and other academic distinctions.

AllMS, Bhubaneswar invites on-line applications for the post of Senior Residents (Non -Academic) under Govt. of lndia, Residency Scheme, 1992 tor a Tenure Period of maximum 03years.

This is a Rolling Advertisement and will remain valid till its withdrawal and to be notified onour website if required. The vacancies will be revised in each quarter and the cut off date todetermine all eligibility criteria will be the last day of each quarter. The lstquarter is May, June &July with 31st July as the last date of receipt of on-line application. Similarly, next quarter will beAugust, September & October with 3lstOctober as the last date of receipt of application andNovember, December & January with 31't January as the last date of the receipt of the applicationfollowed by February, March & April with 30th April as the last date of the receipt of the On-lineapplication. Whenever the last date of the receipt of online application in each quarter will fall onholiday or weekly off, then the last date of the receipt of the On-line application will be the skippedto the next immediate working day. The last date of the receipt of the On-line application in eachquarter will be the cut-off date to determine all eligibility criteria for the vacant posts as advertisedfor that quarter only. The vacancies along with reservation status in each quarter will be notified onour website during 3tdl 4th week of the middle month of that quarter. The lnstitute may also skipnotification of vacancies in any quarter to the next quarter due to insufficient vacancies or any otheradministrative reasons including carrying forward the Selection Process to the next quarter.

The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their applicationthrough ON-LINE mode only. The On-line registration of application shall be made available onAllMS, Bhubaneswar official website.

A. Essential Qualifications :

A Postgraduate Medical degree viz. MD/MS/MDS/DM/M.Ch/DNB in their respectivedisciplines recognised by MCI /lnstitute of National lmportance.

Dept. of Trauma & Emergency:

Experience certificate will be provided in respective discipline/subject in which the Residentwill join. Additional experience of working in Trauma & Emergency will also be provided tothe candidate.

Medical Oncology / Clinical Haematology: Post Graduate Medical Degree viz. MD inPathology, Transfusion Medicine, Paediatrics and General Medicine can also apply for theSenior Resident (Non-Academic) in Clinical Haematology.

Dentistry: MDS degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Only those candidates who have been declared passed in the Post-Graduate degree i.e.DNB/MD/MS/MDS (as applicable) will be eligible to be considered for the vacant post asnotified in that quarter.

However, in case of those who have appeared for exam. / viva voce and result are yet to bedeclared then applicant will be allowed to appear in theory and / or interview provisionally.ln such cases, a bonafide certificate duly signed by the Head of the lnstitute / Competentauthority regarding continuation of the course and probable date of completion of tenuremay be produced / uploaded in the online application.

ln cases, where pass certificate of qualifying exam is not submitted at the time of joining,the candidature of such selected candidates will stand cancelled and no claim for Joiningon the basis of selection will be entrained.

1) Candidates having MD/DNB in Paediatrics can apply for the post of SeniorResidenfs in theDepaftment of Neonatology, Cardiology, Neurology, Gastro'enterology, Endocrinology andMedical Oncology.

2) Candidates having MD/DNB in Medicine can apply for the post of Senior Residenfs in theDepariment of Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and MedicalOncology.

3) Candidates having MS/DNB in Generat Surgery can also appty for the post of SeniorResidenfs in the department of Neurosurgery, Paediatrics Surgery, Surgical Oncology,Urology and Burns & Plastic.

4) Candidates having MD in Hospital Administration or Master's in Hospital Administrations(full time after MBBS) or DNB in Hospital Administrations can apply for the post of SeniorResidenf i n Hospital Ad mi ni strafions.

Upper Aqe Limit:

For eligibility to apply for the posts of Senior Resident, upper age limit will be 45 years ason the last date of submission of application. This is relaxable for SC/ST candidates upto amaximum period of 05 years, for OBC candidates upto a maximum period of 03 years. lncase of PWBD candidates, age relaxation is upto maximum period of l0years for GeneralCategory, 13 years for OBC category and lSyears for SC/ST category candidates. Thosewho have completed 3 years Residency Scheme are not eligible.

For Senior Resident in Department of Hospital Administration, the Upper Age is 40 years ason the last date of submission of on-line application of each quarter. Age relaxation will beapplicable as above.

Pav Scale:Rs. 67,700/- as per 7th CPC, Level -11 of the Pay Matrix + NPA plus other usualAllowancesas admissible under rules.

The candidate can apply for more than one post out of the enlisted Departments separatelybut, they have to apply separatery for different posts/Departments.

Written examination will only be conducted when number of applicants are more than threetimes than the number of posts advertised. However, there will be no written test for the postagainst which less number of applications are received than the vacancies. Director, AllMS,Bhubaneswar will have the discretion to decide for which post written examination to beconducted and for which post there will be no w?itten examination. The decision thereof willbe final.

The merit list (selected and waiting list) for all categories i.e uR / EWS / oBC / sc / sT shallbe prepared on the basis of combined marks of written test and personal interview or onlyPersonal lnterview.

The prescribed qualification is minimum and merely possessing the same does not entitleany candidate for selection.
