IEEE Student Branch, Marian Engineering College (IEEE SB MCE) conducted its flagship event ENIGMA 3.0 from 8th to 10th November 2019 at Marian Engineering College. The event was inaugurated by Rina Vivekanandan, Managing Dirtector, Solastra Global P Ltd. It was a festive atmosphere in the college, filled with colours, decorations, paintings etc. which further added beauty to the college premises. Students from different college as well as from our college attended the 3 day event.

The event as a whole comprised of workshops on topics like Face recognition using OpenCV, Android App Development. The workshops were taken by QUOVIDS under the guidance of Mr. Nithin R S, Head of R&D, QUOVIDS.

FACE RECOGONITION OPEN CV

The session was conducted by Nithin R S. The session included

introduction to identification of objects and images, applications in the

field of AI and face recognition, future scope in this field and many more.

ANDROID APP DEVELOPMENT

The session was conducted by NITHIN R S. The session included

introduction in developing app using software tools, material application

etc.

Women In Engineering (WIE) events

▸ As part of ENIGMA 3.0 IEEE WIE SB MCE conducted cultural events for the students.

▸ Events includes:-

*Wie compete

*Scavenger hunting.

Power and Energy Society (PES) events

▸ ENIGMA 3.0 also experienced the participation of IEEE PES SB MCE.

▸ They hosted the event called ZENOGOG which was

basically a games competition.

Games includes:-

*Carroms

*Chess etc
