Activity #2: WARM-UP: BROKEN TELEPHONE
Purpose: To receive a clear message Instructions:• Work in lines.• The first St. from one line will be whispered in the ear
a phrase by the teacher.• This St. passes the phrase to the next partner in the
same way.• The last St. in the line will say loud the phrase to the
class.• The teacher will reveal the correct phrase to the class.

• Alfonso: I´m sorry. I can´t talk right now. I´ve received some visitors. Could you call back a little later?
• Luis: Sure. At what time could I call?• Alfonso: I would speak to you in an hour.• Luis: Fine. I call you then.• Alfonso: Bye.
