THE THIRSTY CROW!

On one hot sunny day, there was a

crow. He was very thirsty.

He found a jug of water. But he couldn’t reach the

water with his beak.

He saw some stones. He picked some up and dropped

them in the water. The stones made the water level rise

up. Now the crow was able to have a lovely drink.
