Why he has become a teacher?

Prof. Dizdar can always find time to being in good company, which is intellectually stimulating and challenging. He thinks that he can learn from the people he comes into contact with in the same way he has tried to find knowledge in books or other sources.

That is why he likes to communicate with his fellow colleagues, students and professors alike, in academic community and the people from different areas of life.

He can be a perceptive listener, but also a persuasive talker. That is why he has become a teacher.

It is for you to discover his teaching skills and expand your knowledge in Business English.

The English Course: Some ground rules Be punctual: come on time to the class before the

teacher comes into the classroom – latecomers will have to wait for another hour and join the next session by swiping their cards prior to enter the classroom.

Do not borrow or give your card to anyone to register for you. Such an action can cause serious consequences for your attendance record, btalso for the whole class.

Make sure to switch your mobile phones off before entering the classroom – an incoming call sound can disturb the eaching process and will not be tolerated.

Page 16: Engleski Jezik Za II Ciklus EFSA

While in class...

Pay attention to what is being said or done in the class – you may benefit a lot by following the course of instruction with your senses and mind wide open.

If asked by the teacher to respond, please stand up, say your name and give the answer.

Do not whisper or talk in low voice or loud while the professor or other fellow-colleague is speaking. If you have anything to say or ask, raise your hand and wait until given a chance to say what you need to say.

Page 17: Engleski Jezik Za II Ciklus EFSA

Absence from a class

Failure to observe these ground rules can lead to your expulsion from the class. In such a case, your presence will be deleted from the roll call list for such a session.

If you cannot come to class, you need to make your absence known in advance by an e-mail message in order to have your request, eventually, granted by the teacher.
