    Safety First

    Being one of worlds best camps, camp staff takes responsibilities extremely seriously all aspects of safetyare considered insisting on the highest standards.

    Camp and center facilities have been carefully chosen with safety as a prime consideration. Instructors arefully qualified first aiders on site and camp has links with local doctors and hospitals.

    All of staff is selected for their common sense, maturity, qualifications, enthusiasm and experience. Theirability to relate to young people and motivate them is a fundamental element in our selection process.

    Staff undergoes a detailed selection procedure, which involves candidates being interviewed. They attendpre camp training and orientation course. This covers safety guidelines and site specific risk assessmentsfor every activity and general safety topics including fire drills and security. Meetings between the campmanagement team and key staff take place regularly.

    Your Financial Security is guaranteed payment for your trip and all money paid by you to Hat-hoor are heldin a trust account administered by an independent chartered accountant who is an expert in the travelindustry. Your money is only available to camp in England once your child/ Children have paid.

    Food menus

    With such a busy schedule of activity, its essential that young guests are fuelled by a

    healthy, balanced diet. Camps meal plans provide three tasty meals a day with plenty of

    variety. Menus vary from day-to-day according to the season and the individual centrebut theres always a choice of hot and cold dishes, vegetarian selections and fresh salad

    bars. Camp can also cater for students with special religious or dietary needs if we letcamp know in advance.

    Students who are off-site at lunchtime will be given a packed lunch, includingsandwiches, fruit, biscuits, crisps and a drink. Camp continuously develops its menus in

    line with feedback and to reflect the foods that are in season. Please ask your centre forup-to-date menu information. Please note this is a sample menu. These will vary day today on centre.

    BreakfastSelection of cereals, semi-skimmed milk, orange squash, fresh fruit and yogurts, whiteand whole meal toast, continental-style breakfasts with croissants and cheese or cookedbreakfasts.

    LunchSpicy Cajun chicken, cheese and onion pastry, freshly baked jacket potatoes, bakedbeans, grated cheese, potatoes wedges, sweet corn, garden peas.

    DinnerHomemade lasagna, macaroni cheese, saut potatoes, sliced green beans, cauliflower

    and either a hot or cold pudding plus a choice of fresh fruit.
