AlstomMSc has these support options designed specifically for your Emerson equipment:
POWER INDUSTRYTurbine Generators: Turbine supervisory systems (such as
CSI 6500PT) protect your turbine generators by monitoring shaft
vibration, thrust, differential expansion and casing expansion.
Programmable voting logic provides your machine with shutdown
protection while minimising spurious trips. Transient monitoring
provides the diagnostic information required to pinpoint defects
before they cause costly downtime.
Fans and Pumps: Monitoring fans and pumps can be achieved cost
effectively using CTC’s PRO range. An overall vibration signal is
supplied directly into the plant’s control system to provide operators
with feedback on the machine’s condition. This overall monitoring
approach can be complemented with portable vibration spectral
monitoring for diagnostic purposes.
OIL AND GAS INDUSTRYCompressors: The CSI 6500 provides machinery protection as well
as diagnostic information for monitoring compressors. Protection
cards monitor vibration levels and shutdown the machine to avoid
damage, while transient data acquisition provides invaluable
diagnostic information.
Heat Exchanger Fans: Access and cabling costs can make monitoring
heat exchangers and cooling towers difficult. The CSI 9420 monitors
fan bearings, gearboxes and motors cost effectively, providing data
wirelessly for trending and analysis.
Remote Pump Sets: Remote pumps are often prohibitively expensive
to monitor with traditional wired monitoring systems. The CSI 9420
slashes installation costs and ensures the health of remote plant is
always visible.
OUR ONLINE RANGE
CTC PRO LP Sensor RangePRO LP sensors provide a loop powered 4-20mA signal proportional to the overall vibration level. Ideal for low cost monitoring of pumps and fans. Simply connect directly to PLC/DCS to monitor overall vibration.
Tan Delta Oil Quality SensorMonitoring the condition of oil is an excellent technique for detecting machinery defects and their causes. The Tan Delta OQS is very sensitive and provides accurate, real time information on the condition of oil in your plant.
CTC PRO SC200 Series Signal ConditionersPRO SC200 signal conditioners are used with accelerometers to provide a 4-20mA signal for monitoring with a PLC/DCS. They also provide a dynamic signal output for connection to a portable vibration analyser.
CSI 9420 Wireless Vibration TransmitterThe rugged CSI 9420 Wireless Vibration Transmitter is the first device to provide full vibration data over a self-organizing wireless network. It provides rich information about machinery health for both operations and maintenance personnel.
CSI 6500M Machinery Health Monitor - PredictionThe CSI 6500 monitors the health of critical machinery. By monitoring user configurable frequency bands, earliest possible warning of machinery defects is assured. It provides detailed data for analysis in Emerson’s Machinery Health Manager, while data can be shared with control systems via Modbus output.
CSI 6500PT Machinery Health Monitor –Transient Prediction Plus ProtectionFor turbomachinery applications, the CSI 6500T adds the capability of the 6500M with full transient data acquisition on all channels and turbine supervisory functionality The built in data recorder streams all data continuously to ensure that no event is missed, while the protection cards reliably shutdown the machine.
MINING INDUSTRYConveyor Systems: Motors, gearboxes and pulley bearings can
be monitored effectively using vibration spectral monitoring such
as the CSI 6500M. In isolated locations the CSI 9420 Wireless
Vibration Transmitter provides valuable data without the expense
of running data cables.
Draglines and Shovels: The CSI 6500M continuously monitors
machine speeds and loads to ensure that data is collected at
precisely the right moment. This ensures quality information
is available to monitor the condition of variable speed/variable
load machines such as draglines and electric shovels.
Mobile Plant and Gearboxes: Lubrication is the lifeblood of
machinery, and mining places incredible demands upon lubricants.
The Tan Delta Oil Quality Sensor detects oxidation, contamination,
wear and misapplication, and conveniently provides data into
control systems or a local display unit.
MANUFACTURING INDUSTRYPaper Machines: The CSI 6500M provides the variable speed
and machine state based monitoring required to accurately monitor
the health of paper machines. Its diagnostic tools allow for
detection of bearing and gear defects, as well as finding sources
of poor product quality.
Production Pumps and Fans: CTC PRO’s LP sensors provide
a convenient and low cost way to detect issues on pumps and fans.
The 4-20mA output can be conveniently connected to PLC, DCS
or SCADA systems for monitoring, trending and alarming.
Critical Oil Lubricated Machines: Water ingress and other sources
of contamination in oil can be a significant problem in many
industries. The Tan Delta Oil Quality sensor provides warning
of lubrication and mechanical issues before they impact
on plant reliability.
