1965
Establishment of Garniga, dedicated to engineering woodworking tools with interchangeable inserts. It was one of the first companies in the world to pioneer mechanical insert fastening systems.

Establishment of Zuani in the same woodworking sector, devoted to investing in research and innovation since its foundation. It was the first company to start working with the University of Trento in designing its products.
Establishment of Rekord, the first company to design tools to craft wooden frames with a single shaped insert, thus increasing productivity while reducing process costs.
Garniga, Zuani and Rekord merge into TWT, the Italian and European leader in the production of tools for wood, aluminum and composite material working.

NaDia CoatingTWT’s work with the Faculty of Physics of the University of Trento and the Bruno Kessler Foundation has lead a revolution in nanostructured treatment for cutting tool inserts.
NaDia Diamond Coating guarantees a 300% increase in overall tool efficiency, maximum performance to longevity ratio, and a reduction in time spent on maintenance and replacement.
