Around 5 lacs towers in India !Telecom companies second biggest consumers of Diesel –

next to RailwaysSubsidies pegged to over Rs 4500 crore.Single telecom tower consumes 8760 liters annually

assuming 8 hrs of DG run hours. Around 5.12 billion liters a year Estimated 10 Mt of CO2As per TRAI recommendation 50% of rural and 33% of

urban towers to be powers by RET

For Tower Companies Master Service Agreements with telcos where energy is pass-

through Who is going to make additional CAPEX around in renewable

solutions Around 10- 20% additional investment though ROI is 2-3 yrs

max. And where is money for Investment

For Telcos Already high Debt Low ARPU License Fee etc Fund not available.
