● The “Internet of Things” (IoT) refers to the collection of smart devices connected through the internet or cloud that transmit data for subsequent analysis, typically in a datacenter.

● The “Intelligent System” (IS) refers to the technology architecture or implementation of an Internet of Things solution.

It always includes the presence of data feedback where devices collect information and transmit it for collection and analysis in an enterprise datacenter where intelligence is generated and leveraged throughout the business.

1- IPv4 limitations = number of physical addresses available IPv4

Traditional blockers for the IoT adoption

2- Internet capacity for a fully connected IoT

3- Mediator’s ability to scale to millions of concurrent connections

4- Ability to store and analyze data in a scalable way

5- Ability to analyze all the data to make sensible decisions in a timely manner.

What is MQTT

MQTT is a machine-to-machine (M2M)/”Internet of Things” publish/subscribe messaging transport.

It was designed as an extremely lightweight publish/subscribe messaging transport.

It is useful for connections with remote locations where a small code footprint is required and/or network bandwidth is at a premium.

• Consumption controlled in real time

• Bills based on actual consumption

• Between 5 and 15% savings

• More control over consumption peaks

• Reduced Costs• A single meter which records

both production and consumption data
