„LOVE & MANAGEMENT...

Love seems to be a strange word with reference to the management, but in my humble

opinion it’s like on the most spot. We are usually associating it only with the areas of

public service ( educational institutions, hospitals, etc.), where sympathy is the second

nature, and after all love in the business means acting in the way which is caring about

people and world in which we live...

So where is this prejudice from???

Men have dominated the landscape of business world, so love in the management was

missing. Why ? It’s simple: love, sympathy and the spirituality generally are perceived,

as typically female features.

Many factors make it up, so as even if cultural aspects and social expectations: the man

in the management is supposed to be strong, "ruthless", deprived of the spiritual

awareness...

Lord Vader of our times ;)

Nowadays managing is simply unsuited to the most essential needs of the mankind:

To love and to be loved...

After all love is also respect for the other person, concern, tolerance, forgiving, right to

make mistakes, approval, values which so outstandingly are missing in the corporate

By the use of a word "manager" it is possible to describe every person who makes decisions, but this word is most commonly used for describing the person, who is employed in all sorts of companies or organizations and carries out or participates in the process of managing.

The person who would be supposed to guide a team must be somebody special.

A manager is a man of appropriate features…

He can organize his time and the time of his partners.

By delegating the responsibility and entitlements, he lets take decisions,

he/she teaches them independent thinking.

A leadership isn't mainly about what is being done, but about what

kind of person a leader is. The man with the personality of a leader is self-confident, satisfied,

assertive, etc. Of course the Manager does not always have to be a leader …

He has friendly relationships with partners, however at the same time he is also demanding.

He is interested in the problems of his subordinates and pays attention to their progress, to them…

Trust is a positive emotion shown to other people, objects or institutions.

It should be mutual. Trust is a faith in defined actions or properties.

It often even means convincing one of the parties, that our motivation towards them is

being honest and willing to act well . We are giving trust the person we believe, that

he will be giving us good advice, thinking about us,

rather than about himself.  Apart from the law and common objectives, mutual

Trust in the job of the manager constitutes the important component of building effective teams.

It also constitutes a basis for management techniques exploited by the manager, such as:

management by objectives, managing by exceptions and other.

Without trust which the manager gives members of his team it is impossible to achieve above average

results over the long period of time.It is a manager who is responsible for creating the

atmosphere of trust in the team.Along with trust, in the job of the manager using

Erich Fromm…

A philosopher, a sociologist, a psychologist.

Born in 1900 in Frankfurt on Menem, died 18 March 1980 in Muralto near

Locarno.He studied in Heildelbergu, Munich and at Psychoanalytical Institute in

Berlin.

Along with Hitler gaining the power in 1934 he emigrated to the U.S, where he worked in the Institiute for Social Research in New York.

He lectured at the University of Colombia, Yale and State Michigan, in Bennington College and in William Alanson White Institiute of

Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis and Psychology…Fromm is an author of: Escape from Freedom, Man for Himself, The

Forgotten Language and May Man Prevail…
